Fuck gaygrabsdicks10 and buttcocks arguing the finer points of heat retention, reflection , thermal mass and anthropologic impacts on environment related to industry.

Now I fucking seen it all

Hahahaha. I know right.

Grabs is owning the fuck out of the farmers here. Notice how Neal has steered conpletely clear of that particular argument.

It's nonsensical.

The direct act of farming captures many orders of magnitude of CO2 than it produces.  Beyond that the shipping/processing/delivery of food stuffs can be argued to create surplus.

You didn't really think that one out very far.

Who determines what the optimum ave temp is for the earth?

Who determines the historical range that we have used to show changes to the earth's "ave" temperature that everything is measured from?

Who is saying there is one?

Anyone can.  The general use case is to average a range of years and then show the offset from that. There isn't a fixed average that one has to use, nor even one that's demanded to be used.

There is no mean temperature of the earth

Incorrect, there is, but it isn't relevant to anything.

Average a range, and determine +/- from said range.  It's not complex.

Neal

Ok, what is it then

So we just pick an average now?

Cause per the weather network we are 11.5 degrees colder then the average.

Sure.  That's what is done.

Generally the broader the range/more data samples the more robust the average is.  Don't you agree?
