Because hopefully the world allows the fruit of socialism to run its' full course as just another in a long line of failed states.

May be if the Venezuelans rose up with their guns.... oh wait.

If socialism is ruining their country why are they trying to sell oil for below market value in crypto currency?

And why wouldn't we "capitalize" on that discount? Could it be that the "free market" isn't really free?

Because people are killing their dogs for food, and using their fur as shit paper later.

Why not capitalize? The answer is in my quote meat stick.

Wasn't it the cartels of Venezuela that made us stop Sadam from doing that very same thing?  Forget where I read that years ago.

That was when the oil cartel still had control of Venezuela's oil.

I watched a whole report on this in CNBC about a month ago.    Crypto-currency backed by reserves, not oil already extracted.   What else would it be backed by?   The full faith and credit of the Venezuelan govt?

Eventually, he plans to issue 100 million petros, backed by 100 million barrels of oil reserves.

The best thing that could happen right now is that the rest of the world isolates the US and Israel and supports Iran. This country is an embarrassment. Russia, China, all of Europe should stand behind the Iran deal and tell fuckhead to go pound sand. Trump is pathetic.

What value would their "crypto-currency" have without the reserves?   Kind of the point of the whole thing.  It isn't as if the reserves are without value but quite risky considering they could just take your money and say fuck off.   On top of that you are playing a commodity game of sorts with this currency.  Seems to me a pretty clear reason why we are hearing of this deal with India.
