UP in for another dumping

Neither photo is. We used the UP for practice. The real riding happens way to the left. Seriously, you need to try it. Just once.

Man I went back and forth about heading out west dozens of times......I came to the conclusion that it would ruin riding around here for me and I would undoubtedly become obsessed with mountain riding and there goes another 20k a year building turbo shit and launching it off god knows what and trying to climb stuff that would get me killed.

I chose wisely for once in my life and am more than happy with how and what I ride

Exactly!!!  The money sails out the door building mtn sleds. The sled in the photo had a 660 big reed motor, ez-ryde rear suspension, custom primary and secondary clutch, boss seat....fuck...I lost track of everything else. I had about $12k into it.

 yah.....thats fun for about 10 minutes and then I am looking for something to jump and ride off of or a beer stop. Fuck offtrail riding

Yeah.  10 minutes tops.  I just don't see any adrenaline limiters going off doing that shit.  Now mountains?  Yeah...I "puckered" on a few of those rides.  But still...not my Cup-O.

I'm tired of wrecking shit and that is all offtrail is for me......I get bored after 10 minutes and look for something to hit. I'm retired now and just want a smooth fast trail

That is not the fucking UP you mook ......

Below is and I have pics of much deeper in the UP with a barney, I've been in stupid deep in the UP, and yes been Ben I've been out west and with that I will tell you that the most bottomless snow I have been in was in Quebec mid March 80 miles north of Port Cartier, QC...........insane snow that never saw rain all winter long.

BTW, at this time of the year in the UP it's hero snow..........................until you find that spot :lol:

I know......the discussion was trails being closed on March 31st and us missing out on good trail riding because of it. Off trail is gayer than 40 bags of dicks

yeah if you have no skills it can suck .still not much worse  than counting diamonds all fucking day

again some real challenging shit in the UP even N MN if you know what your sled can actually do . I have had way more oh shit moments in my life on steep hills in the Midwest than pounding any ditch or scratching oaks on a trail.

I deff find my self doing less crazy shit now days because it takes whole seasons and multiple bottles of pills to recover

I still run trail it is entertaining but more about hanging with the guys  we still end up running spur trails and shit more than the groom.

lmfao yeah the real skill comes in the form of ridding groomed trail. you know just like the slednecks trail edition series . a statement like that tells me all I need to know about your snowmobile piolet skill set .again i may be 49 but still going every place the 20 and 30 yr old guys are and not getting stuck near as much as the trenching kids .

.takes more than a few trips on to a corn field to get good at steep and deep ridding

any ass hole can hammer a groom hard in less than a season

its retarded that they close trails and quit grooming when there is cold and snow ......I'd go up and ride more if I could ride the trails

plenty of seasonal roads and state land you can ride dopey . It requires a little skill to find your way around though so you should probably stay home
