Man I went back and forth about heading out west dozens of times......I came to the conclusion that it would ruin riding around here for me and I would undoubtedly become obsessed with mountain riding and there goes another 20k a year building turbo shit and launching it off god knows what and trying to climb stuff that would get me killed. The sled in the photo had a 660 big reed motor, ez-ryde rear suspension, custom primary and secondary clutch, boss seat....fuck...I lost track of everything else. I had about $12k into it. I have had way more oh shit moments in my life on steep hills in the Midwest than pounding any ditch or scratching oaks on a trail. I deff find my self doing less crazy shit now days because it takes whole seasons and multiple bottles of pills to recover I still run trail it is entertaining but more about hanging with the guys we still end up running spur trails and shit more than the groom.
