Paul Ryan and Scott Walker are planning to snub Donald Trump in Wisconsin

Recommended Posts

Seems kind of unusual that the party nominee visits the state and the top party dogs in the state are doing a no-show, would you not agree Snoughnut?

Paul Ryan and Scott Walker are planning to snub Donald Trump in Wisconsin

Not one of Wisconsin's top three Republican politicians will greet Donald Trump when he arrives in Green Bay, Wisconsin, on Friday for a campaign stop. Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) announced Wednesday that he'll be in northern Wisconsin for meetings about recent flash flooding, House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) has said he'll be further south in Wisconsin in his district for the day, and Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) kept his excuse vague, simply citing "prior commitments."

Their excuses came just one day after Trump hesitated to endorse Ryan in his primary next Tuesday. Echoing how Ryan once waffled about endorsing the Republican presidential nominee, Trump said he's "not quite there yet."

Walker, Ryan, and Johnson have all endorsed Trump, though The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel pointed out they've also "distanced themselves from many of his controversial comments."

Oh the horror.

If Dump is such a great candidate and Scooter is such a great governor - how come he is not enthusiastically endorsing him?  Same with Ryan and Ron...:dunno:

A simple yes or no will do,

It's not a simple yes or no in the context you're asking the question.  Why would she go....and who cares if she does or does not. Is the attendance at a campaign by a private citizen the same as a governor, rep, or Sen.?  :dunno:

Now back to the OP - how come the three highest elected officials from the state are not attending their own candidates rally?  Is there a good reason that the MSM is not reporting?  Is there manipulation by the MSM we are not aware of?  :snack:. If so - please share the manipulation so I'm aware of it.....:snack:

Yo - at least Dump will have SnowPlumber and racer in the crowd supporting him and hanging on his every word.

It would be funny if it wasnt so sad. A rally full of empty minded cheese heads, incapable of intelligent and rational thought. Ryan and Scooter dont want to be associated with that. You have to admire that about them. :dunno:

At least they are not attending but let's not forget they all endorsed him.  If they withdraw or pull their endorsement I'd have more respect for them.

Hitler had a lot of followers also..

Hitler was a great leader. And unlike Trump, a very intelligent and powerful speaker. And mind you, Germany was in a terrible depression from post WW1. And he was gonna get shit done. And he did. From 1933 to 1938 Hitler completely rebuilt the German economy. So much so in fact that they named it "The German Miracle" Time Magazine named Hitler "Man of the Year" in 1938...

The magazine has nominated several controversial figures as "Man Of The Year" since the tradition started in 1927, including Joseph Stalin, Nikita Kruschchev, and Ayatullah Khomeini. Osama bin Laden was strongly considered in 2001, but the the award went to New York mayor Rudy Giuliani instead.

In Time's 1938 "Man Of The Year" article, Hitler was labeled the "greatest threatening force that the democratic, freedom-loving world faces today."  That was as much an endorsement of Hitler's tactics in 1938 as it would be today: in other words, not at all.
