Puzzleboy Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Don't say the Puzzler didn't tell you that Doug would run. The next Premier of Ontario. Quote
Usedtoskidoo Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 He does secure a good portion of the Toronto vote! Quote
Puzzleboy Posted January 29, 2018 Author Posted January 29, 2018 Suburban working Toronto, yeah. Not so much downtown, where you have your bums, peaceniks, and immigrants who perennially have their hands out. Quote

Usedtoskidoo Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 Just now, revrnd said: That's about it. The rest of the province has no appetite for the Ford family. agreed. Although a lot of 905'ers here are sick of slick liberal politicians and if Doug goes all Trump on Wynnes ass he would garner a lot of support. I would take that bet and do it. Quote
Puzzleboy Posted January 29, 2018 Author Posted January 29, 2018 I wouldn't say that, exactly. Lots of my family and friends who live in Niagara, etc., always seemed to like them. In any case, Ford's platform (largely the same as Rob's), will resonate with middle class Ontarians who are tired of the Liberals' blatant theft and mismanagement of this province. The Fords have money, but their message of cutting government waste should be exactly what most Ontario residents are craving. Just now, revrnd said: That's about it. Government waste will depend on what, remember PC's lost last time for this reason - firing 100k people is not a good platform Quote

Puzzleboy Posted January 29, 2018 Author Posted January 29, 2018 We NEED to fire many government people. We're not running an employment centre here. Take a look at Ontario's debt..... worse than California's, and they think THEY"RE in serious trouble. We are bankrupt, and nobody acts like it. Too bad Mike Harris is not available....
