We bought ours to stay in when visiting the grandkids during the summer. We ended up buying a lot and had a small area cleared, had hydro installed and parked the coach there. We bought an outhouse( no hole) and put a composting toilet in there. We picked up 2-1000 litre water totes,a gas pump to transfer water and a unit that goes on the propane regulator to hook up external tanks so we don't have to unhook and move things to go get propane. They're bringing in fiber optic to the area so we'll have satellite. We're in the mindset now to sell our house, move to Nova Scotia and build on our lot. We'll live in the coach till the house is built then we'll sell the coach.

Sweet unit! All the ones I looked at with the Cummins/cat pushers were big money. I settled for the one I bought with 30K miles on it for short money. It's got the Triton V10 and pulls along pretty good and I wouldn't say it's easy on gas but it's not bad overall.

But but but we don't get hotel/motel rooms and can cook our own food lol.

I drove CDL for 50 yrs and had enough of the idiots. This thing is like being on the couch and it's big enough to scare them lol.

I had 3 I wish I still had. 67 SS Camaro , 66 Chevy Nova and a 69 Barracuda fastback/ 340. Hopefully the 73 Vette will be a winner when I'm done -

It's getting to the end of this season with the pontoon out of the water, shrink wrapped and at a friends for storage. The wife is packing up stuff out of the motorhome that were taking home. I started loading the truck up little by little and putting things in the shed. I have to load the sxs, winterize the coach on Sunday and start heading home on Monday. It's been a great summer

Yes! Been here for a 2-3 months. Heading home on Monday and coming back down in May for the summer

We have been watching old dvd"s all day in the motorhome which is our home away from home. We stream the odd movie as well. We'll be leaving for home on Monday and nice to get back as we've been away for some time

I've tried watching it a couple times but it's boring. We are not too far from it in Nova Scotia and anytime we drive by it I chuckle and think hurry up and find something lol.

It's the afternoon shift on board now lol -
My brother had Sebring hardtop/conv that he got killed in. The car was a write off and the ins paid out $8600 for the piece of shit

I would think they've all done some marvel engineering at some point in time. My 73 Vette has the battery in behind the back seat, the driver's side spark plugs are easier to replace from underneath, a dumb vaccum system for the headlights, a spare tire that's a bitch to get at and brakes that are a bitch to bleed. The list goes on.

We have a 2012 Ram with 98K kms, a 2018 Ford Focus with 78K kms on it. No idea what's next for a vehicle as there's no rush to spend any money

$1.45/litre in Nova Scotia yesterday.

It's definately up there. We have a builder friend that said get the plans and he'll do the #"s and see what it'll cost for him to build. He cleared an area on our lot and built the dock and he was reasonable.

This is the model from Beaver Homes it's 1700 sq ft and the entire kit was $156K and went up to $220K. I had it figured out with framing, elec, plumbing, septic, well, kitchen, bthrms, flooring etc etc to come in around the $500K range with the original price. I'm going to go see them eventually and look at my options. With covid it seems like everything is short of supply/demand
-
Yes. The one I've been looking at went from $156K to $220K. That's for all the material to build only. Then you need flooring, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, electrical, hvac, plumbing, foundation, framer, well and septic and permits etc etc. I'm also looking at other houses within 1.5 hours from here.

We viewed a house yesterday with deeded water access. It was nice but by the time any work gets done to upgrade it not worth it. My wife said we should put an offer in lol. We have an acre lot here and can build something the way we want for that money.
