I'll find out when it comes to getting a building permit how they are there. We had 2 hydro poles installed and hooked up with no problem to our lot.

We are looking at making the move to Nova Scotia.

The prices are generally higher down east than Ont.

I've gone to the store by sled and sxs lol. There's 52 (2 acre) lots here in the subdivision and close to 30 that have houses on them. One guy owns 4 or 5 and he'll cash out eventually as they're going for $200K on average. I kick myself in the ass for not acting fast enough 2-3 years when a lot came up for sale for $64K. I bought a lot last year in Nova Scotia for $46K and the lot beside me was going for $40K. The guy called 2 weeks ago and asked if I wanted 1st dibs on it for $79K. I don't thinkso.

We are in a quiet little subdivision that most people don't even know it exists. We are 10 min to a grocery, liquor/beer store, smokeshop, fish n chip joint, post office and Chinese restaurant. If we need anything else were 20-30 min away from 3-4 towns and never any traffic. It's not for everyone but we love it.

My wife orders from Amazon and the couriers know her by name lol. We drive almost an hour every 3-4 weeks and she does a shopping day to various stores that aren't around here

Lumber went up again early January. The material I'm looking for went from $156K during covid to $220K then dropped to $190K and now back up to $203K. I wanted to start my build but it's gonna have to wait.

Get a spray bottle with water and every time it nips spray its face and in a stern voice say Wrong! Also get a pop can and put some pennies in it,tape the opening and when it nips shake the can in its face and again say Wrong. If it's doing something you don't like you can toss the can at it as well and say Wrong. Don't repeat the word as they think fuck you yadda yadda yadda and won't listen. Another thing you can do is tie some of that blue nylon string to its collar and let it just drag it around ( about 10ft) and you can grab the string and give it a tug. Stick to the same words as they will learn quick enough
