Mehā¦. North Idaho. Ruby ridge back woods type person did this. They are already home in their compound having some home brews. Would be surprised if this one gets solved.

Where is the āprideā in this?
Trump is convicted sex offender? I thought his conviction was over inflating the value of a property to get a favorable loan.

Big beautiful bill increases debt limit by $4 trillion.
Phase out happens for those that gross 100k single and 200k married. OT deduction is only for $20k of overtime pay. Overtime pay over 20k isnāt included. Most blue collar trade workers wonāt qualify for much of it.

They have some stipulations which many wonāt meetā¦. Itās not as it seems or as stated by those that say no taxes on OT. But there will be a portion of OT not taxed for some that can meet the stipulations.

the Qatari Jet.... ?
Should be used as a deportation plane. Could likely hold 600+ illegals and be much cheaper for mass deportation operations.

Tariff Revenue reaches record 15 billion for month of April š
They probably have a fair amount of automotive products such as oil, tires, and. A few odds and ends that arenāt Chinese, not sure if their shit tickets are Chinese but I doubt it as I think most tp and paper products in general are more North American. I donāt think the last bag of cat litter I got there was Chinese. Garden centers of Walmart probably have a lot of stuff that isnāt Chinese. Probably the most Chinese stuff Walmart might sell is clothing. Just a guess on my part

Anyone ever buy anything from Temu?
As of Friday, small packages under $800 US in value entering the U.S. from China will be subject to duties of 120 per cent, or a $100 flat rate fee. The flat rate is set to rise to $200 as of June 1. Assuming the company passed on most or all of that duty to consumers, the cost of items on Shein and Temu's sites could more than double for Americans. Both Shein and Temu have already announced price increases due to tariffs, which came into effect last week. An analysis by Bloomberg found that products on Shein's U.S.-facing site had increased by as much as 377 per cent in some cases, and by an average of eight per cent for women's clothing. Temu has also added "import charges" to items on their site of about 145 per cent, according to CNBC. Its analysis shows that an $18.47 US sundress will now cost $44.68 after import charges, for example.

Anyone ever buy anything from Temu?
Big changes as of yesterday. The $800 dollar duty free exemption is gone from Trump tariff policy. No longer direct ship from China as of yesterday. I guess the site will start dwindling away as us supplier burn through potential stock of the cheap Chinese stuff they may have loaded up prior to tariffs. With the $800 duty free rule they use to be able to ship direct from china but that has come to a halt. CNNTemu says itās only shipping within the US. That doesnāt...

Anyone ever buy anything from Temu?
Being pretty much all Chinese stuff I heard on some conservative talk radio that tariffs will make that online retail site unfeasible. Likely will be cheaper to get tools off the snapon truck.

Dairy farmers worried
Probably just fear tactics so farmers get bigger subsidy checks from the trump administration. If they can get bigger subsidy checks it might mean they can buy a new Cadillac Escalade or 2 to write off.

The army of millions and millions of human beings screwing in little screws to make iPhones, that kind of thing is going to come to America," Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said...
Our trade deficit will likely get worse with China with Trump doing exemptions to tariff while China is probably going to become American free on their products with the tariffs they have. A leader, once they set policy and working conditions, either go full in or full outā¦. This half in half out and sometimes fully out doesnāt work long term. You loose credibility when you donāt follow through with what you say.

We likely have a trade surplus with most of those countries or minuscule trade deficits with for things that we canāt produce in the US

Retail investors are buying stocks at highest level in 10 years
The article says the retail investors bought $4.7 billion in stocks yesterday. That 4.7 billion is worth significantly less after todayās market. Those retail investors lost their asses on this.

Trump says heāll buy a Tesla to support Elon Musk, whose companies are struggling
President Trump recently introduced a 25 percent tariff on all foreign-built cars. That means any vehicles assembled outside the US could see a price hike Stateside, including those built in Canada and Mexico. Even foreign-made parts for vehicles assembled in the US will be subject to the tariff, according to a statement issued by the White House. Revisiting the Kogod School of Business's 2024 American-made index, Tesla should benefit the most from these new tariffs. Each of Tesla's vehicles achieves higher than 80 percent in total domestic content. Of the Big Three Detroit automakers, GM is the "worst positioned" under Trumpās new tariffs, according to JPMorgan analyst Ryan Brinkman. With nearly 40 percent of GMās cars produced in Canada or Mexico, Brinkman estimates that the company could face a $14 billion hit in earnings.

Hyundai to build 5.8 Billion Steel mill...wow!
Nope. But the steel according to Hyundai, the ones building the plant is its product for EV manufacturing. They just built a huge EV plant down south that started turning out products to take advantage of the IRA provisions. Personally I donāt think the steel plant they are going to build is going to see the light of dayā¦.. construction isnāt suppose to start until like 2027 and it wonāt be complete until 2030. They are pulling a rope a dope with Trump like Ram did the last time Trump was presidentā¦.. make promises but not follow through

Hyundai to build 5.8 Billion Steel mill...wow!
This new steel mill is for Hyaundai/Kiaās EV production at its newly opened EV plant down south as a result of Bidenās IRA. Trump kills the EV āmandateā and tax credits for them this plant wonāt see the light of day.

NewsweekEgg prices plummet to nearly five-month lowEgg prices have skyrocketed to historic levels over the past year, with wholesalers recently paying more than $8 for a dozen eggs.

Trump says heāll buy a Tesla to support Elon Musk, whose companies are struggling
Tax code doesnāt allow and individual that buys an f150 any tax benefits. It allows a business owner though tax benefits to buy and use that same f50. There is your answerā¦. Tax credits and deductions are just tax codes that allow individuals and businessās to keep more of there own money so I can see why it might upset those that like other peopleās money

So if those that donāt have a hsa or fsa buys some prescriptions should they have to pay taxes on the money used from the hsa because somebody that doesnāt have a hsa or fsa has to pay taxes on the money used to buy those same prescriptions?
