  1. Added rear storage today. Actually has quite a bit of room. The camlocks are kind of a pain though. Not sure I'll be taking it on and off much.
  2. Number 8 in the diagram? I haven't had much of an issue. I do see guys replace it with a knurled screw that can be put on and taken off by hand. The track was replaced before so the chain case had been apart. There was a thin line of sealant when I took it apart. I just cleaned it up and put it back on. 10-4 on hand tight. I heard of the cases cracking so I was doing it by the book, 12 ft-lbs in a crisscross pattern. Apparently my small torque wrench will click at 120 inch pounds but not at 144 inch pounds. Snapped one of those bolts right off. I thought I was at least at 12 ft-lbs so I tightened the one bolt I had good access to, waiting for a click (there was no click). Luckily, I just had to grab the exposed part of the back of the bolt and screw it out.
  3. Do you put any sealant on the chaincase cover? The service manual didn't mention it but I see it on the parts diagram. I bought the team clutch compressor and a clutch puller. I'll rig something up for a holder. Need that t60 socket too. Thought i had one but the biggest I have is a t50. Splain please.
  4. I will try that next time. I saw some guys added a drain plug or suck the fluid out of the fill port. This time I wanted to be able to clean everything up since it's a new to me sled.
  5. Got most of the major preseason stuff done today. Cleaned the power valves, adjust cables (off by 2 mm), changed plugs, changed chaincase oil, put on spare belt, and installed spare plug holder. Need to do the clutches once my puller comes in. Was going to pull the secondary apart but I think I'm just going to clean up the sheaves instead. Rear storage bag comes in tomorrow. Need to order registration stickers this week. Last stuff is to check ski alignment, track tension, track alignment, and set up shocks. By the way, who the hell puts the chaincase behind the oil tank?
  6. At least they are being honest now. This was never about Kavanaugh. It was about Trump and his pick for SCOTUS.
  7. Ever been on a college campus recently? Uber liberals are the norm in most departments. I was signed up for a class this semester, did some more research on the professor, and noped right out of there. Taking it next semester from someone else.
  8. Politicians aren't supposed to destroy someones family, career, and reputation in the name of politics but they did. I was glad to see Kavanaugh come out swinging. While actually testifying about his merits to hold the position he was non-political and reasonable with both sides. Feinstein slow rolled this and leaked the name of the accuser against her wishes for maximum political gain.
  9. He likes beer. I like beer. Take the vote!
  10. Far and away the better political move was not having a hearing on Garland. That cost the Democrats a seat on the court.
  11. If Feinstein didn't slow walk this we would have been able to investigate it. The dems knew exactly what they were doing. Now we are 85+ days out after the nomination.
  12. None. We ended the day the same way it started. Most think she gave good testimony but she didn't have any corroborating evidence. BK puts the dems in their place and called them the hacks they are. I watched much of his original testimony. Why I have no idea. He was respectful and answered all questions a way a constitutional scholar should. Today he was pushed and came out swinging right away.
  13. And that's what this whole thing is about.
  14. Kavanaugh is shredding Feinstein. I can only wait until he gets to the next D clowns on the committee. If BK wasn't redpilled before, he is now. He will make it his life's work to make these hacks look like fools.
  15. Probably get the cancer just looking at that thing. I spray all sorts of chemicals around my place for the lawn and apple trees. Typically spot spray round up every couple weeks. Keeps things looking nice.
  16. Loud can, fake chrome, and alotta octane boost!
  17. Signing the 4th (and final) FISA warrant application was a very independenty thing of him to do. This alone should disqualify him from overseeing any sort of Russian investigation.
  18. This is it, this is the one, it is definitely credible this time.
  19. My favorite is the bike bouncing off the rev limiter. Loud pipes save lives!!!!1!!!1111! https://www.ctvnews.ca/canada/edmonton-pilot-program-to-slash-traffic-noise-backfires-1.4093883 Edmonton’s pilot program of using sound detectors to monitor noisy drivers backfired after the sensors actually attracted more sound. Some drivers started competing to set the sound monitoring display boards off by purposefully revving up their engines. An earful of complaints from nearby residents prompted the city to quietly shut down part of the program on Thursday. In total, the City of Edmonton installed eight photo-radar style systems in the noisiest parts of the city to detect vehicles driving by too loudly. But the ones causing the biggest issues were the four stations with LED boards that showed the decibel levels. RELATED STORIES Edmonton to crack down on loud vehicles with photo radar-style tech Ballet to cure the Mexico City traffic blues Daily public transit use could pose hearing loss risk: study PHOTOS One of the sound detectors with LED display as part of Edmonton’s pilot program to monitor noisy drivers which backfired after the sensors actually attracted more sound. A motorcyclist revving up his engine next to one of the noise sensors with the decibel level being displayed by LED screen. (Cory Bacon) Drivers started using the sensors as “scoreboards” to see whose vehicle engine was the loudest, one local motorcycle club member told CTV Edmonton. Residents were not impressed. "I (originally) thought people were just ‘Oh, I just want to see how loud I am in case I get fined’,” said Stephanie Kierstead, who lives across the street from one of the sound devices in the city’s north end. Following complaints from people like Kierstead, the city shut down all four LED displays that displayed noise levels by Thursday, according to a city spokesperson. But despite the LED boards going dark, all eight stations’ microphones are still recording noise levels. “Since they’ve turned off, I haven’t heard a thing,” Kierstead said. She said the city should have planned for people misusing the displays. But in August, city officials told CTV Edmonton that the LED displays would stop displaying noise levels after a certain decibel. Sensors still recording traffic noise Gerry Shimko, from the office of traffic safety, said that not having the caps on the noise displays “would be counter-productive for the neighbourhood.” The maximum sound limit for traffic, according to the signs, is 85 decibels. Mayor Don Iveson said that once the sensors are combined with police enforcement, during the second phase of the pilot program, they would have a better impact on the community. "I think the message will start to get through to people that this kind of anti-social and disrespectful behaviour with loud vehicles is not going to be tolerated anymore in our city,” he told CTV Edmonton. Edmonton is not the first city in the world to employ noise monitoring stations to crack down on noisy drivers. Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, installed similar technology in 2016, according to The National newspaper. Edmonton's pilot ends in November. At that point, city officials will review a report based on the findings of the pilot project and decide whether to move forward with a large scale program.
  20. It's 14 years newer and 25+ HP more than my last sled so I'm sure it will be a riot. It is amazing how different the new sleds are but at the same time much has stayed the same.
  21. Got the new sled all cleaned up this afternoon. Got a bunch of stuff to go through and check before the snow flies.
  22. Um, no source of bias in NPR, BBC, NYT, NBC, ABC? CNN middle of the road. Would agree the WSJ, the guardian, and economist are good sources.
  23. Get rid of it. Otherwise every time you pull up the general forum there is a q&a subforum listed. Plus, no one here has questions. All we have is answers.
