The American people are not stupid if they had a choice they surely would have picked someone other than a reality tv star. Either way the establishment needed an enima and now due to their medaling in the DNC they have got one that has a pineapple tip.

On some level Trump and Sanders are the same candidate in as much as they are both anti establishment. To that end after it became clear Trump would win the RNC endorsement what choice did the establishment have but to run and support Hillary? A Trump vs Bernie ticket would have been a loss for the establishment as no matter the out come a establishment candidate would not have been in the mix.

The other side of this is no matter if you go back to Glass/Steagall or a modified version of Dodd/Frank you need to enforce the laws. The market played fast and loose with the laws as written and lost over a trillion dollars in other people's money and Just one guy goes to jail?

This is going to set back the Liberal cause 40 years. Supreme Court is gone. Regulations at the state and Federal level are in the hands of right with little if any opposition. If Trump puts money into the cities like he has alluded to then the vote will end up getting split over time and the strangle hold on Urban areas will tip the scales towards a more conservative electorate for decades to come. All of which is a self inflicted wound. SO now they have grief counselors on college campuses to coddle 20 something year olds who have their very first taste of defeat. So we have an old guy at the shop who is in his early 70s. He is more than a little pro Trump as he has a Hillary for prison sign on the back of his little pickup. He goes home last night pulls in the driveway and a guy pulls in right behind him and gets out of his car and starts yelling at this old man. Every time I hear a talking head from the left Media or comedian or just a rank and file Dem voter it always has language of mockery like yours. Trump did something that should scare the shit out of the DNC leadership, he went into Dem states and Dem cites and made a pitch "try something different vote for me". Now he did not have huge success but he did make some gains over past repubs and if he does put money and effort into places like Flint or Detroit than the Dems could be facing a real problem in future elections.

So you contend that 206,007 votes for Johnson would have gone for Hillary? Stein sure but Johnson? Introspection is not a strong suit of Democrats it would seem. Hillary Clinton has been forced upon the Dem electorate not once but twice and in both cases she was not greeted with warm and fuzzy feelings in primaries. The Clinton's may make the corporate backers of the DNC happy but not so much the rank and file Democrat. Her track record now is two losses to relative political light weights even with the scales tilted and the wind of the press at her back. The best thing that could happen to the Democrat party at this juncture would be for Hillary to be indicted and convicted of something that keeps her in prison till at least 2021 other wise the DNC might just try and force feed the schleps of the party another Hillary run.

I am with Ben on this. Yes she should be prosecuted but it would just make for a political mess that would be bad for the country. She should get Nixon's deal get out of town and keep you nose out of politics and you can die in peace.
