  1. I don’t even bother with the oil life system on my GMs. It was a method of artificially lowering the epa rating. it may sound excessive, but my vehicles get oil and filter every 3000 miles, religiously.
  2. Perhaps Yamaha was in the know, and ducked out before the house collapses? Down too two manufactures isn't good for the sport at all. My brother is waiting to pick up his 2025 Sidewinder. I figured he could always get cat parts. If the dealers are jumping off the ship with bad tastes in their mouths it isn't pretty. It's 10 Skidoo to one of "other" in my area, and no one is stepping up to take the BRP line. Very telling.
  3. Did you fall and hit your head, because that's the smartest thing you have said in forever. How's that for a backhanded compliment?
  4. Not really. If these little tidbits of The View were not posted here, I'd not know let alone care about anything they say. Idiots gonna idiot. Was their reaction surprising, or did you already know how they'd react when the Orange Demon said what he said? Tune it out. There are plenty of special interest groups in Canada that would sooner I die and go away...with my freedom sticks, infernal combustion engines, private property rights and such. If I cared what they think I'd have pulled my hair out long ago.
  5. Athletes wives. My number three go to when I am looking for political advice. First is actors, then a close second is musicians.

Joe is spending more than Trump. Perhaps Trump thought he had maxed out the Visa? As long as governments are willing to borrow and spend, markets are happy. Markets rely on growth, growth relies on spending. When the taps get turned way down or off, that's when the markets will shrink. It ain't rocket appliances.
  7. Interest rates are not high. That %6.1 is actually the average over the last 58 years. Things cost more than they once did, taxes take more than taxpayers can afford and both people and governments borrowed too much money. Who knew the gravy train would eventually come to the end of the line.
  8. The cost of the machine to build and the gamble on it selling, makes it an industry few make money at. Covid stupidity, inflation and interest rates have backed up inventory in many industries. Look at RV and car lots. Bursting at the seams with overpriced inventory. Bad snow year after bad snow year have amplified the problem. My closest Ski doo dealer is now 60 miles away. There used one 5 miles away and another 15. BRP wants someone local to build a fancy facility and fill it with product. They will be looking for that chump a long time, and we will suffer as consumers. The future may be presales only and short production runs.
  9. China emits one third of all CO2 planet wide, and yes they make cheap ev's.....too bad Dopey followed dementia and tarriff'd the fuck out of them. Canada makes trees, lots of them. I did some rough math and by golly we've hit the climate change grifters jackpot. Canada's trees consume 10x more CO2 than Canada emits annually. We are not the problem. Until we stop ignoring the elephant in the room we are all going to get trampled.
  10. Hundo P Like the truckers in Ottawa, it was a protest not a coup. They did want to change government...by asking the Governor General to dissolve parliament as she does before elections. Lol, naive at best more so retarded.
  11. If by government you mean China and India I'm %100 behind you. Beggaring ourselves, without those two in lockstep, will have zero meaningful impact. To think otherwise is to ignore fact.,
  12. Truck yes, coal no. Our DOT has brought a bunch of police officers up to speed on regulations. I see lots of diesel trucks pulled over and being given the once over. It's really easy to see what isn't factory, and that's all it takes. The police call in the MTO and the fines start adding up. They pull the plates until it's back to OEM. Word is going around, the time is nigh for deletes and tunes.
  13. If we had no debt and balanced budgets then we could easily gamble on green energy and jobs, and they are longshot gambles given history, and even a myopic look forward. Sadly we are well past that point. There is no more money. The man who has tread water to near exhaustion, can't choose between swimming to the unseen Hilton beach in the DR, vs the Haitian shithole beach that is within reach.
  14. He lied for a long time, over and over again about beating girlfriends.....until the video came out. He lost the benefit of the doubt, from me anyway.
  15. Buddy says 12 book hours for the cover removal. I can see so reason, short of winning the lottery, I will ever own another diesel truck. The lottery win would have me in a long box crew lifted Denali, complete with a FU*K TRUDEAU flag in the rear window,
  16. My wife votes Green party. Where we live, the election is over before it begins really so it's kind of a protest vote. I like many of the policies they have at both levels...if money trees and magic wands were a thing. I believe more people would vote for them if they had a coherent plan to pay for the policies. After Doug and the Dope, fewer are going to believe the Greens can balance a budget and keep the promises, We are so deep in debt both federally and provincially, the time for costly transitions and fairy tales are over. I could not vote for Doug last round, he is certainly not a conservative the way he spends money. He was getting in, in my riding anyway...I'll vote for the spaghetti monster party next time.
  17. As the next president of the United States I hope she does well for you guys. To wish her to fail is folly. I hope our dope does right for Canada, but we've had 8 years of douchebaggery so I'm less hopeful.
  18. It shows how fragile the economy is. Raised quickly to control the self inflicted inflation. Lowered quickly to stimulate what is a likely deep recession. I can't see people rushing out and spending money, given the last few years. Any faith in government to actually help the people has mostly evaporated. Neither should have been necessary. Blissfully, my wife has worked on us being mostly insulated from the stupidity. Unlike our leaders, I feel sorry for those less fortunate.
  19. I see the shooters points. Doesn't mean I feel the same in this case, but I have empathy. I've voted Liberal before but I still hope Trudeau, as our tyrannical leader, drops dead or otherwise ceases to torture the Canadian electorate through finite means. Trudeau has not pushed me to the point where I wish he be assassinated, nor do I know the point I'd need to be pushed to do the deed personally. I hope never to be that aggrieved.
  20. I was hoping that was happening in 2020. Do you safely think it's coming soon after Nov 5? I'd like to live like Charlie Sheen for the few months we have left, but worry I'll be penniless too soon.
  21. Mass command detonated explosions, in the civilian population sounds at least terrorism adjacent. Another generation of terrorists are watching and seething with hatred. It will however do wonders for getting the kiddies heads outta them damn phones, we all want that. Might put pieces of the phones in the kiddies heads however. I'll maybe hold onto my old iphone xr for the foreseeable future....
  22. You must toil under a different task master. i don’t like it but he is top dog in Canuckistan…could be the reverse vampires though.
  23. We are doing similar under the SWIFT project, but we are spend ing $4000 per household. I believe it has a lot to do with autonomous vehicles and high speed for other uses,
