The storm seemed to travel up the Green Mountains and basically went from the south up to the north. It's amazing how elevation will trap weather systems. I've seen Jay Peak get 2 ft of snow overnight where we get 6 inches or so 20 miles away.

Could be worse than Hurricane Irene. I'd guess that we've had 5 inches of rain in the last 12 hours. Mother Nature is pissed.

Just an fyi, my niece did the med school deal and is/was a Nurse Practitioner. Practiced for 2 years and got TOTALLY burnt out as hospitals are nothing but conveyor belts. Administrators have turned the medical profession into a meat market. Get them in and get them out, next patient please. She just couldn't do it anymore. It's not about healing or health, it's all about the money. Long story short is that she's 240k in debt and basically, unless she turns into a robot and gets back into her profession, will never be able to pay that back.
