"Higher Wages for American Workers Act,"
I stand by my assumption, I read the whole thread.

Hawley seeks to repeal Medicaid cuts he voted for
I'd be surprised if I didn't have a lot of support of that opinion.

Hawley seeks to repeal Medicaid cuts he voted for
It's hilarious you don't see yourself as a liberal, as I said it shouldn't be the role of the government to show empathy, it's just too easy for people to justify stealing from the government. Empathy used to be the churches and families responsibility, let's bring that back. Healthcare in the US has gotten out of hand because we've become a country built on litigation, everyone's looking for an opportunity to sue someone, it's become a lottery prize for some. When I was working in Mexico I met several people who doctored there even though they had good insurance because they got better care for half of what their deductible would be, why because you can't sue the hospitals, they stay busy because they provide great care.

People in Missouri will be just fine one way or another, what happens people and churches will be supporting their neighbors and when it's done on a local level it's much easier to see who really needs it and then makes it easier to weed out the fraud. Empathy isn't the governments role, crying "don't you care" is just a way to steal, look at Minnesotas fraud, Minnesota Nice was taken advantage of.

Hawley seeks to repeal Medicaid cuts he voted for
If it wasn't for ranked voting Murkowski would be voted out, they did what they had to do to get the bill passed, now the fun part will be if Hawley submits a bill to change this, after all the crying by Democrats, will they support it.

Hawley seeks to repeal Medicaid cuts he voted for
I still see nothing wrong with his stance, the major bill got passed and now he's trying to get some adjustments that people seem to be concerned about, I doubt there has ever been a major bill passed that was perfect, look at all the weird spending the Democrats put in their last funding bill.

I like Hawley, and I don't see a problem with tweaking legislation after getting a bill passed, and after all the screaming from Democrats I wonder if any will vote for this?

Budget surplus.
As far as washers and dryers, I'm a big Speed Queen fan, they're worth the price difference.

Budget surplus.
Hopefully they do as intended and a company will be able to be financially competitive to produce the same products in the USA, and as more product is produced locally there will be jobs created that will offset the lose of income from tariffs. As you know that's the reason for tariffs.

Another Conspiracy Exposed
I have friends that do cloud seeding in West Texas, what they do is fly into storm clouds (think dry lightning storms), trying to get the moisture released in a drought stricken area). The vapor trails in clear blue skies have nothing to do with cloud seeding.

Lock him up he’s a lunatic
Maybe when the Tax credits for retirees from The Big Beautiful Bill kick in he'll be able to pay his $25, but then he'd have to admit Trump is saving him money in retirement. 🤣

Medicaid, SNAP and CHIP spending almost a trillion dollars a year.

'I can't drink the water' - life next to a US data centre
Well there's the reason for all the flash flooding, putting all that moisture in the air. 😁😎😎

Medicaid, SNAP and CHIP spending almost a trillion dollars a year.
When I had my Dealership, once a month I'd get welfare moms coming in wanting me to sign forms saying they applied for a job, usually dressed in old sweats and hair up in curlers. When I'd ask when they could start saying I needed someone to inventory and stock shelves, they always replied that they only needed me to fill out the form, some would get mad when I said there is no place to put that I offered them a job and they refused.🤣 My secretary would laugh and ask what would I do if they wanted to work? It was always so obvious by the way they dressed and their demeanor which ones had no intention of wanting a job. (then in the evening you'd see some dressed to the 10's at the bar).

Trump says a new 50% tariff on copper imports is coming
From reading his posts I’m assuming he makes his living finding foreign suppliers to sell parts to American companies, if so, tariffs would negatively affect him, but I prefer the manufacturing come back to the US.

Trump says a new 50% tariff on copper imports is coming
You seem to be stuck on Tariff's as a tax and not the fact they're meant to help the country be more competitive against foreign markets, we've lost a lot of our manufacturing to foreign countries which makes little sense when you figure in shipping costs, the start of this tariff conflict was trying to get on a level playing field, in the long run, I think they'll work and I'm willing to wait it out and see.

Hahahaaaaa! You are sooo fucked.
He's just angry Canada is not a state yet and now he has to pay tariffs. 🤣

the America Party
I'd be happy with a small reduction of the debt each year, at least they'd be going in the right direction, my fear is they'll just make a drastic devaluation of the dollar as an easy out.

the America Party
But I'm sure you were fine with the Pride folks having their boobs out on the White House lawn.

Why some see the dollar's drop as a sign America is losing its financial might
Comparing it to the Mexican Peso, it was about 50% lower under Obama.

Millions more Americans could turn to food banks soon. Food banks are simply not ready.
The only way to do that is by having it handled locally, any program federal or by the state is open to abuse, also where are their families if they were really destitute shouldn't their families or local churches help?

More Winning for Trump
I won’t be back till October myself, if I get a few weeks of fishing in before the Ice fishing season, I’m good. The South shore is always good early and late summer, but if the waters nice I prefer running up to the Islands, if nothing else it’s a fun cruise, and we know a couple spots where you can fill out in no time. Do you drag your boat up or hire a charter?
