  1. parts changers. my buddies ski doo wouldn't crank last week. he calls dealer to see if he still has warranty. without even seeing it he says it needs starter AND drive. but he only keeps the starter. come on now, both parts bad? i was concerned because when it just spun it had 12.0 volts. he changed battery and when it did it this week , once again 12.0 , even 11.8. we were told to lay it on it's side so the drive sort of falls out. it started. i still feel the voltage is a concern. so now it's getting both parts. if it does it after that my buddy is gonna explode. and i'm getting video this time!
  2. whatever is fixed will circle back around anyway
  3. many just rip the shit off and scrap it. gonna be a bad day if it becomes required. had one the other day, needed both def feed lines that have heaters in them. 406.00 each. he declined and took it.
  4. i am not in favor of deleting . every time one of those comes in it stinks so bad we can't get it out of the building. shit gives me a headache. i have customers laugh when i complain to them. oh yeah? think it's funny? wait and see how long it is before i give you another appointment. not funny after that and i'm not kidding
  5. i tell people remmeber the black cloud that used to come out. imagine managing that to no soot in the length of a truck. lot going on under there.
  6. that is a fact. the more they change these systems the more it breaks. many just delete anyway , which may come home to roost some day. and of course right now is when they have nothing to fix it.
  7. or the picture like i said, standing on it giving the finger. i posted mine the next day in front of the tuggers sign krom posted
  8. ny state is in stellar condition. cold, deep , snow, and it's awesome. tug hill was crazy good yesterday. took the fields to copenhagen, we came in to the bar parking lot and i couldn't believe we got across that fast. conditions and sunshine helped. cloudy gray and bumpy coming back but still amazing
  9. stellar ride today. shit is deep , i had to wade in to take care of business . that doesn't happen to me very often , but i wasn't making the truck. almost couldn't get back out. another 10 inches tonight
  10. Barnes Corners ny, lots of snow at our favorite lunch spot
  11. Another awesome day on the hill. Fields to Copenhagen were out of this world, blue skies. Shit is getting deep up there. One side trailer has snow touching the stop sign. Tonight it may end up covered
  12. when i was a kid in the 70s i trapped with hopes of outsmarting the fox. 80.00 for a good pelt back then. i would have been rich as a kid from one . well let's just say , that they are some smart fuckers. my dad's friend was showing me , or trying . he would get several a night . that was my one and only experience with chewing tobacco. he was always spitting in an olive can. i asked one morning , like 4am, hey joe, what is that. he said oh it's good. here try some. it was beechnut in the pouch, straight leaves. that shit hit my mouth and i was ready to spit it out. he said don't spit that out and waste it, that shit's expensive! it wasn't . but i held for a minute and was finished. never again any form of tobacco. the red fox here maul my neighbors farm , eat our cats , and even cat food from the dish outside. still can't not like it when one trots through with it's nose up , big tail and awesome colors. actually just had one in a local village here freaking people out https://www.facebook.com/reel/1140431114191096

  19. once i start riding i skip the cycle shop on saturdays. i do however try to keep the sled guys rolling, so i do nights during the week. my buddy asked me to do his walkers, both shafts chipped to shit. he got new shafts so tonight i'm gonna hook him up. after i snowblow my driveway of course
  20. i took a week off of midweek, maintain the xcr. been pounding the shit out of it as usual. pulled my skid yesterday , rebuilt rear shocks , checked skid over. slides are close. i ordered a set , only 2 in ny warehouse , hopefully they will be mine. either way goes back in thursday night for saturday. gonna hit the chaincase as well. been 1300 miles since last round. overall holding up good. i look it over and thaw it out weekly , try to catch stuff before it happens. not surprised i need slides and carbides. slides have 4k on them , carbides , 1300 miles. back together thursday , saturday starts the rest of the season. and what a season we are having. 850 etec i ride with wouldn't start on the trail. at that point the battery on the display has 12.0 volts. not enough in my eyes. it was just spinning. dealer said change starter and drive. nice guess for parts changers. i guess the drive can be an issue, and is buried in the engine. it started every time after but was showing 12.7 volts. i feel battery first as it was 12.0 when it wouldn't start . original battery in a 22 xrs
  21. more fresh here in ny, and the temps are frigid. and another great ride saturday. more coming this saturday. took some time for maintenance, rebuilt my shocks, replace slides, service chaincase. been 1300 miles since last time. going out fresh to finish off this stellar winter!
  22. we got 5 here. temp fell through the bottom. looks like we had the january thaw , on with the riding
  23. we laughed when they had zero v8s, selling full size trucks with a 4 cyl turbo. the king of v8s has none. even though that 4 cyl moves the truck , i feel no one will want it used later on
  24. the 5.7 in my tundra is up there with the v8s
