  1. The media push is to get people to vaccinate their kids even though the actual data is showing that the shot has not done a fucking thing to either slow the spread of infection OR reduce the number of critically ill. The ICU's still have covid patients in them and those dying from it are the most susceptible to it and also is the group with the highest percentage of fully vaccinated. All while the numbers of those with natural immunity keep growing as people get infected, WHICH IS WHAT IS GOING TO EVENTUALLY HAPPEN ANYWAY, vaccine or no vaccine. Just like the annual flu there is no way to avoid it. Eventually you will get it and no covid is no different other than it seems to be mutating faster than anything else on the planet.
  2. The fans will be ok even if it takes some time. Aaron may not like the management in the head office but they have managed to do quite well over the past three decades and that's not only because of two HOF QB's. They have managed to put together the entire package and bring home championships. That takes an entire organization to do that. Who knows when or if Green Bay will have another HOF QB at the helm but I give the organization and the current coaching staff a pretty good chance of finding one at some point. There are other teams in the league that cannot seem to even identify that potential talent let alone develop it when they finally do have it and build a team around it. You mention the Lions and they are the perfect example of having a stellar talent and QB for many seasons and doing absolutely nothing with it.
  3. He did look good last season and perhaps he did deserve to be MVP but I'm not sure he was better than Brady when looking at the overall season and outcomes and I am not a Brady fan at all. The formula for last season went like this. Score three or more touchdowns in the first half and look really good. Offense takes the second half off and hope the prevent defense can hold up. Win by a field goal or a miraculous touchdown in the last seconds of the game. Yes, wins are wins and they matter but when it really counted in the 4th quarter of the championship game Brady delivered and Rodgers did not. Personally I think Rodgers has been an excellent QB for Green Bay and has had a spectacular career. He's done a lot to solidify the team as winners and champions in the league.
  4. There were more than a few fans last season that thought Rodgers was already done even though they wound up putting together a lot of wins. They hardly dominated and scored just enough points to win the game. Sure that is all that matters but Rodgers hardly looked his best last season and I think he should have just retired and moved on to hosting a TV game show. He put far more effort into that than he did preparing for this season.
  5. A chart with the stat's is much easier to understand vs a single data point or stat. As with any data it's how you interpret it. Look at the trend lines over the past year for hospitalization, ICU patients and ICU, Bed and Ventilator usage. The trend lines are pretty flat which tells me that even though 55% of WI residents are fully vaccinated it's having little to no impact on the hospitalization rates or number of people in the ICU over the past year. For fuck sake, people need to go on living their lives even though this weapon has been unleashed and there is little to nothing any of us can do about it. Perhaps those most in fear over this shit should be taking their leaders to task over holding those responsible for releasing this shit and making them accountable for it.
  6. What stood out to me was the laundry list of degree's along with accompanying senior level titles. Someone with all of these positions and degrees under their belt yet cannot get up on a stage at an informal event and put a few minutes of coherent talking points together without having to read them verbatim off of an iPad. At least be intelligent enough to know if you are not going to spend a few minutes rehearsing the material setup a better teleprompter. That is the single best mirror into her capabilities as a senior exec/manager. Perhaps her first round of triage will be to fire that idiot in the marketing department that was in charge of the 22' sled launch. First rule of executive management. If you look like a dumbass doing something make sure you blame it on another dumbass and fire them for your own incompetence.
  7. Village idiot. He has been out of office for months yet he still lives completely rent free in that empty space between your ears.

They definitely sold a shit ton of RV's over the past year. My son and daughter in law upgraded to a new 5th wheel last spring but only because they had been looking for a couple of years, found exactly what they were looking for and it was being discounted heavily ($65K MSRP for $35K) unlike many new toys these days that are all selling for MSRP if you can find them. They sold their 17 year old 5th wheel they picked up 5 years ago for $8000 within a day of listing it last spring. They only paid $2250 for it. They had a couple dozen calls on that thing within minutes of listing it. Crazy. Very likely there will be a lot of used RV's hitting the shelves as well as people decide to go back to more traditional family vacations again.
  9. According to the village idiot she is good with numbers. MC's math wiz fully tweaked Karen needs a lesson in the fundamental quantum unit of shit in = shit out.
  10. Totally agree. Thousand dollar plus fines would put a stop to that shit in a hurry.

Sledding will definitely be the first place slowing sales will hit. Lot of sleds sold everywhere last year and my guess is most did not get ridden much last season.
  12. The noise has to be addressed because it's killing the sport for everyone but I have no idea if lowering the threshold from 88dB to 82dB is the answer or will even make a difference. Enforcement is the only way to stop the completely stupid shit that still goes on. Our club has discussed this topic many, many times and one idea that came up was through the registration process. Sled has to meet sound reg's in order to carry a sticker and I agree there should be some leeway for older machines that owners have a hard time getting parts for but these dipshits that have to ride the crazy loud sleds on someone else's property would just keep riding modified old shit that does not have to meet the regs. Something would have to eventually be done in these instances. And yes, some asshats will also just register a conforming sled and then take that muffler off to ride public trails but at least it met restrictions at one point in time and then make the penalties and fines much stiffer for registering a conforming sled and then subsequently modifying it afterword. Establish a fund with those increased dollars for enforcement and for clubs to have money to compensate landowners in an effort to keep trails open for everyone else. Those fuckwad's would then either just keep paying into the loud can fund until they can no longer register or ride a sled on public trails, eventually conform or just quit the sport and move on to something else they can enjoy while killing their ability to hear.
  13. Degrasse Tyson is a media whore but even he knows the earth is a sphere. Flat earthers would only agree that the earth is not flat if everyone else thought it was.
  14. Deterrent is not the ticket it's insurance rates. Personally I think cops writing speeding tickets is a complete waste of their time.
  15. One of the least intelligent posts I've seen on here and that takes work given how hard some like MC work at it. Anyone lucky enough to be born in the USA post civil war was born into a society that provides freedom and the best chance of prosperity even for stupid fucks that post shit like this.
  16. My parents are just previous to the boomer generation and have been collecting SS for nearly 20 years and I hope they collect for many more to come. I figure since I likely won't collect and have not been planning to it's good to see them benefit. The amount they get is not making them rich but it pays for quite a bit of their modest living expenses.
  17. I've done my own Delta study. Five out of five of us in my immediate family had it with a total of 9 out of 12 that attended the family get together three months ago. I can say the fucking test is worthless at detecting Delta and vaccinated contracted it just as easy as those that were not vaccinated. Made zero difference. The Delta definitely sucks if you get it. I finally got rid of all symptoms after 8 weeks. Some got over it faster with the youngest being affected the least which is why mask mandates and vaccinations for school age kids is just fucking dumb. The primary outcome of my study that was most positive was that 0 out of 12 had serious side effects or required hospitalization of any kind. Somehow we all survived it vaccinated or not and the benefit is we all likely have antibodies now vaccinated or not.
  18. Been doing my research for some time now and you have to look at crypto as a commodity like gold or silver. Yes, it needs to be a legitimate form of payment but far too many think it has to get to a stage where you buy a pizza with a bitcoin in order for it to be considered completely legitimized and that's not the case. How many people that have invested in physical or paper versions of gold or silver use it to pay for shit? An extremely small percentage and most of those are the actual miners of the metal that use it in that manner. The majority use it as an investment vehicle and as a hedge against economic headwinds in other sectors. My stake is a small percentage of my total portfolio but to completely write it off is something short sighted idiots like MC are doing. Then they stand back and gloat when there is volatility. They are doing this while others are making money on the investment. Gold and Silver went through the exact same volatility in the early days of adoption and then once mainstream they levelled off became less volatile and the ability to make decent returns also levelled off right along with it. I wouldn't touch gold or silver as a long term investment personally at the moment because of the crappy risk/return ratio. Crypto on the other hand has high risk but also high reward. For many that reward is worth the risk.
  19. Yes, it's awesome that N. WI is crazy busy. The bar and restaurant owners deserve to make all the revenue they can right now. It's a really tough job made even tougher by the shitbirds in DC keeping the gravy train going. At least the additional free unemployment finally ran out but the dipshit dumbocrats will likely find a way to extend it. Absolutely killing small business that needs people to work.
  20. Depends on what you think is bad regarding cases. Exactly one year ago there was an average of 2 cases per day in this same week of August now the average is 4. So while MC and his kind are screaming holy hell and spreading more fear that cases have doubled I'm not getting too worked up over 4 cases a day and that's considering the Delta is supposed to be far more contagious than covid classic...
  21. I used to think this when our primary boating was on the river but now that we spend most of our time on smaller lakes pontoons make a ton of sense when the boating is mostly slow speed cruising with lots of people on board. Heavy high powered boats look pretty dumb when it's two seconds on plane at full throttle to the next no wake zone or just doing circles on a small lake. We inherited a barely used 03' Bennington that came with the property and were going to immediately sell it for something else but decided to use it for awhile and now it makes zero sense to replace it specifically with the current market for boats being insane.
  22. Incredibly hard to watch our once allies condemn what the shitbird asshat's in DC have been doing while the bought and paid for dumbocrat press keeps sucking them all off and acting like this was someone else's doing or worse yet completely unavoidable. Fucking crazy. The shitbird biden supporters on this site are just as bad making excuses for them and acting like this is some sort of joke.
  23. MC, working hard every day to prove that stupid has no cure.
  24. No matter how many times their bullshit is debunked the flat earther will deny, deny, deny and then deflect, deflect, deflect. Cults are very difficult things to break free from.
  25. Best to heed your own advice on this one.
