  1. Both sides of a situation rarely ever win. One gets what they want and the other compromises. Fact of life.
  2. Has any one attempt to put DJT in prison stuck yet? Is there even one indictment? If you really wanted money out of politics, you wouldn’t support these headhunts like you do.
  3. I didnt say you did. A very large majority of your DNC voting base, DOES. As does most of the independent voters.
  4. I did make an edit to my post but I’ve never been against getting money out of politics. I certainly wouldn’t say that either side supports it more than in front of the press though.
  5. If that’s the case then the argument that Trumps antics are what put Biden in office are also moot.
  6. Still seems like something more shady going on, to me. Could be wrong though.
  7. If he does, all the proclaimed independents will lose their fucking minds. Just like the Hillary supporters did in 2016. Just think of all of the bullshit that has transpired in this country to not only BRING DJT into politics but to put him in the WH. The democrats of the past decade plus have. They really have no one to blame but themselves, no matter how hard they try. If you want DJT completely out of the running, how about coming to the podium with someone that’s actually worth a shit? Clearly all of your taxpayer funded head hunts aren’t doing a fucking thing to solve it. Heaven forbid the GOP actually put someone up that is worth a shit too. Neither will though. It’s better off for all of the DC swamp to have all of this infighting going on instead. I personally think that if you can’t see THAT, you’re fucked.
  8. I get that. Honestly though, pretty sure he does it just to get a rise out of people. Seems to work pretty well. Oh well. I’m beyond over living that mess again so…may 2023 be the year that it officially dies.
  9. 110% on the first bold. You have got to be completely off your rocker to say the second bold. Which “side” asked for such things as public segregation, reported people to the public authorities for “not following the rules” and even forced people out of jobs/careers over their “beliefs”? So just because some new information has come to light that might just make these “beliefs” irrelevant, and all of the government enforced bullshit completely illegitimate, “anti vaxxers” are worse? I mean, by saying that, you’re already saying “pro vaxxers” were bad and imo, you’d be right. I just never thought that I would see a day when people have to constantly defend “their side” at all costs.
  10. Speaking of echo chamber bullshit. Why do you defend corruption at the highest levels of the government, so vehemently? Personally, I don’t even think this is a left or right issue. They both do it.
  11. Everything in the lower is pretty much completely wiped out here. The UP is hurting now too. Same forecast for us as well. Shit sucks.
  12. I thought about selling both of mine for one new one. I don’t like to comprise though. I’m spoiled having one of each now. I have serious thoughts about offing the 600 for an 800 though. I’ve seen a few that I could buy without a dime out of my pocket with only one phone call to sell my 600. I definitely want to upgrade my RMK to an Axys chassis though. Rode a Matryx chassis RMK last year. Didn’t like it at all.
  13. So more than ICE? You’re on crack. There’s no material support to pull that off in the supply chain. 30% market share was the dream by 2025ish pre-Covid. I don’t see that happening now. Even then, less than 1/3 of the market isn’t that great, imo. ICE is going nowhere soon.
  14. My 29 year old second cousin works as a tech, like me. He’s doing well but he’s also in school right now working on his engineering degree.
  15. Believe what you will but that’s not what they are asking for like they initially said they would. Initially, they wanted no new ICE vehicle sales after 2025 and to be 100% EV by 2030. They have dropped that metric all together now, last I heard. They have a lot of orders in for ICE, BAS+ and Volt/Prius style gasoline hybrids.
  16. I have less into the current two that I own, than it would take to buy one new one. I could also off both of them for more than I paid for them, tomorrow. So yeah, I won’t buy new anymore, for sure.
  17. I’ve been in automotive for over 26ish years. I hate the rollercoaster but it’s all I know. Wife started in the automotive world back in 2017 and she’s completely over it. Hoping we find something different for her soon.
  18. China made an about face on EV a couple of years ago. They can’t sustain it so now they don’t want it like they want something with a gasoline engine in it. With the lack of materials for current stuff, a LOT of people are sitting on their hands with nothing to do, in the R&D world, on the manufacture side. 2023 isn’t going to be pretty. If things don’t turn around before mid way through the 2nd quarter, I can see a mass forced exodus coming for a lot of white collar peeps in the automotive sector. Unless, they do an about face like China did but, politics will probably keep them from doing that, unfortunately. Hope I’m wrong though. At least about the jobs part. I have no want to be a large part of any large EV movement personally. Nothing against it, it just doesn’t hold my interest.
  19. Wife and I took our sleds up to the in laws Monday. Got a quick 40 mile ride in Tuesday before it went to shit quick yesterday. Now, it’s all bare and pretty much starting completely over again. Not a lick of snow accumulation in the 10 day forecast either. This shit is getting old, that much I know.
  20. Hey, you said it. I hear ya though. There’s only a few people in any of my riding groups that are buying new. They’re still buying Polaris but they do bitch and they are die hard Polaris guys anyway. I haven’t bought new since 2009. Can’t justify it. Between weather, the cost and work, it just isn’t worth it for me to spend the dough on something that’s going to get ridden 4-5 times a year, if that. Pretty sad really.
  21. Are you talking about the lack of snow check on time deliveries, or the recalls? I doubt the recalls will do much in the way of pushing people to something else. Most people that can’t get the recalls done are just riding them. Now, goofy people like yourself, who have put themselves through how many years of spring order delivery BS? Yeah, THAT I can see. That’s a you problem bud. No way am I selling anything to buy new unless the new item is already sitting there. I see too much of it on a daily basis. I’ll weather this storm with old junk, thanks. I’ll bet the parts don’t cost them 1/4 of that.
  22. Wha? No….well, you said it, not me.
  23. Unreal what people will pay for spank material. IMO, any women capable that is NOT taking advantage of that whole deal right now is off their rocker. Your identity never has to be revealed, from what I understand, so what’s the shame in it? Get that money, use it wisely and live good. Fuck what everyone else thinks. At least you’re not rubbing your Arby’s sammich all over some creeping dude who’s blowing a load in his pants over it.
  24. Are what any good? Full EV vehicles? No idea. How many BEV3 vehicles has GM produced? How many Hummers or Lyriqs? Materials cannot even be sourced for those and we all know that auto manufacturers work 3-4 years ahead, minimum. So, how is the next gen EV suppose to even enter development, if the materials to build current production cannot even be sourced easily enough? 2023 is going to bring the pain for a large amount of the auto market. Any manufacturer putting a ton of weight in the EV market is going to be hurtin for certain, by the looks of it. Oh no no no. AFJ says it’s a Z06 with front electric drive, not some “same 6.2L V8” bullshit. Just look up the page a few posts.
  25. Correct. I’ve read the rumors/talk about a full EV Corvette for years. I’m sure sooner or later something like that will happen. Problem is, battery tech is still too low and from what I hear, just getting the materials to BUILD next gen packs is almost impossible right now. Full blow production of current EV models is severely dismal for some auto manufacturers so I wouldn’t be waiting around for anything super high end like a full blown EV Corvette anytime soon. I’m sure there isn’t many people in line to buy one anyway.
