  1. Sorry about your hobby. Let me guess, it’ll change from ‘not at all’ to ‘no big deal’. Shannon Brinkley, owner of Houston Cheap Fireworks, has been in the firework business for 24 years with 12 locations across the area. He said the tariffs have become cost-prohibitive for his business and the industry as a whole. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/houston-texas/trending/article/houston-fireworks-stands-tariffs-20395318.php
  2. Shutting down a parade…. What a great thing to threaten.
  3. I’m not sure what’s your allegiance is to H2A in its current form or why’d you be against improving it. I think most here can be honest that our current system is inefficient, at best, and can be improved upon. Why you want to argue about the details is beyond me.
  4. Yes, although it’s criticized for being complex, slow, and costly. What’s wrong with immigration reform? What’s wrong with making things more efficient? There’s a whole Farm Modernization Act bill being proposed (bipartisan) aimed at tackling some of these criticisms. “Nooo! Everything’s fine just the way it is!!!” You shouldn’t.
  5. Pickup what tab? We can impose as many cost barriers as we want, but why would we. Make it easy for them to come work, legally, and then go back.
  6. Sure, the revenue is just magically appearing.
  7. Definitions are tough. 😉
  8. Yeah, well you don’t care? No way!!!!! Never expected that response from you. Tariffs aren’t taxes! Oh, wait….
  9. When you worship, everything is good, all the time, no matter what.
  10. And is expensive. There should/must be a better way.
  11. Your reading comprehension is lacking. I have no issues booting illegal immigrants and only allowing them in LEGALLY. 🙄
  12. That’s not the point whatsoever. Most people won’t care about mass deportations until it hits them financially, then they’ll be clamoring for immigration reform so they can come back. Like it or not, we need foreign workers for some of these jobs. Legally, less red tape, more cheaply.
  13. The deep state agent was actually Ray Epps, one of Kash’s employees.
  14. The fact that it’s a meme and not an actual FBI statement/release speaks volumes.
  15. Which is expensive, and as mentioned, most won’t care until they see it in their grocery prices. The immigration system in general needs an overhaul.
  16. People won't care until they pay for it in grocery stores.
  17. I’m guessing TACO will prevail. That’s what the feds waiting on.
  18. Asked and answered your own question. Ummm, globalization. Are you seriously referencing the 1700 and 1800s?
  19. I don’t know, it’s just so hard to understand.
  20. According to your graph, $20B plus worth. Again, tax revenue doesn’t materialize out of thin air. You’re like talking to a Democrat. You’ll polish any tax turd and cheer for it. Yay, look at this graph showing the government taking more money. Yay.
  21. And around in circles we go. Revenue MUST be coming from nowhere because I can’t see it!
  22. Taxes are taxes. Next time your property tax goes up we can throw it in a graph and all get excited about the counties new, higher revenue. Yay.
  23. The revenue doesn’t come from thin air. Just because I didn’t notice a sales tax increase for when US Bank Stadium built doesn’t mean people didn’t pay it.
  24. Taxes raise revenue? No way! 🙄
