He looks hungry, what does he eat ? I personally feed them lead.
  2. To me it looks like you are using that snowmobile as a garbage can or is a garbage can? Where do you pile all that shit in the winter? On the 2022 garbage can?
  3. The regulations do say that, but it also says that the parent must be close enough to be able to direct the youths operation of the snowmobile. Seems kind of vague to me. I am all for the younger people getting into snowmobiling, but 9 year old out on a public trails riding a machine without an adult on the back, just seems wrong.
  4. This guy gets the dumb ass father of the year award. Takes his 9 year old out trail riding, kid hits a tree and gets hurt. In Minnesota kids need to be aleast 12 years of age and completed a snowmobile course to ride on public lands. Now he's on Facebook looking for help to fix the sled.
  5. Lol, I was wondering how long it would be before mnstang piped in with his electrophobia talk.
  6. The web site says it closed, I picked my brother up on Friday, he is in Barron county, trails were groomed, but he said they are closed. The gates are open, but trails are closed
  7. I'm masking up this weekend, trails should be awesome, plus it will keep my face warm.
  8. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=d2KWerKmsmE See if this works
  9. This week on Pelican lake snowmobile flys through the air and parks itself in the the garage. 1588696_1640790245959_trans.mp4
  10. I haven't snow checked a sled since 95,now I buy off the rack/dealer stock and I'm an impulse buyer. Last February I went to the dealer for some parts and seen a new 850 all black and shiny, bought that and put the parts on hold. But I was excited for that XLT, I new it wouldn't be all that fast, but it sure rode alot nicer then my old 650.
  11. I think for $185 bucks you can get a recoil starter kit for a Skidoo. Not that much more than a new battery.
  12. We tried that skidoo rope pull start last year when it was -26 below, it didn't work, broke that little plastic clip on the first pull, the battery was brand new, unstalled the day before and fully charged up. Had to take the battery out and bring it inside to warm it up, started fine the rest of the day. Next cold snap the same thing, no start.
  13. You should never start the cat until all the skidoos are up and running 🏃‍♀️
  14. The dealer had that on for me when I picked it up. He said, I put a different windshield on it, he didn't think I would like the one that they came with. He was right on the mark.
  15. The North Shore will be good this weekend with the dump of snow they got up there and more snow coming today I think you will be having a great time. I was there Monday and in some spots they started to groom.
  16. North Shore trail pictures from today. Lots snow and groomed trails. Just a couple of sleds out and about.
  17. Are you thinking like the I 500 race that used to start in Winnipeg and finished in St Paul. I think the starting location and direction changed up over the years, but it was 3 day race on the trails, I remember the signs on the North Shore trail after one of the races.
  18. The first stock run for the cat was quick, I'm thinking a hotdog wrapper blew across the track and trigger the timing lights a little early.
  19. I seen the same thing with NGK plugs on one of my friends sled. Loose plugs from not crushing the washer, watched him put new plugs in, I could tell he was unsure if it was tight, hold on give me that wrench, nope not tight. He got lucky the plug never blew out the first time, we just noticed it while checking out the sled. If things look good after you pull the head, I would just put a new head on and run it.
  20. It wasn't the shocks at all, it was the non sanctioned light weight racing spindles that they are trying to keep a secret.
  21. I don't think the Pequwayann has changed much in the past 50 years. For me walking in was like going back in time, yep the same, maybe the length of the bar was extended, fire place insert, but it seemed to remain timeless.
  22. I am sure I could of held out a little more money, maybe 1500, but time spent dealing with people on a old sled is just not worth to me. Sunday morning about 11am I decided to sell that sled, by 2 that afternoon it was on a truck and gone, listing was removed and I was done with reading dumb ass offers and stupid questions.
  23. Sold this 95 XLT today with 8200 miles for $1250.00 I was asking $1250.00 Crazy people where offering more money then I was asking, but I already starting talking with the guy that grabbed it.
  24. 15 Hp down? I have read that "5 hp down "was the standard for Arctic Cats.
  25. You just can't have your kids driving around in old F1 beaters, " Dad we should buy a new race car" Problem solved
