The ice grip on the Blizzaks is the best, no doubt. I drive on my lake in the winter so I need it but driving 7000km a month on alot of highway the mileage loss is brutal. I lose 160km every 93L tank compared to the AT2's and they are like driving on flat tires in the dry. 1 sled in the bed and pulling a dbl enclosed trailer and the pig goes 340km on 93L of fuel- Retarded. 540km on AT2's. Be lucky to get 40k out of a set of Blizzaks too, they wear quick. They have AT2's in W/T but never tried them. It's a compromise but for the percentage of ice driving the AT2's work good and in LT (10 ply rating) weight in the truck doesn't affect mileage much, the Blizzaks get terrible.

Not usually a fan of Crappy Tire tires but The Total Terrain AT2 was excellent on my Ram for winter. Not an Ice tire but I drive a ton (70k/yr) and they gripped and wore great and didn't affect mileage too bad. I originally bought Hercules but the mileage went for a shit so I tried the LT AT2's, they were great. I put P rated Blizzak's on at the end of last year and those gas suckin sludge slippers are coming off and another set of LT AT2's are going on. LT 265/70/17's

Now auditors are calculating the cost of Wynne's attempt to buy votes by financing a hydro refund at 4 Billion and interest charges on the total operating debt at 17 BIllion.
