  1. My point if this all came from one person then there is zero chance to ever get ahead of it unless it simply goes away like SARS did. Not one reported case since 2004. That is a bit strange in my book.
  2. Because your home is what you take care of first besides food when it comes to bills. Between unemployment, the extra $600 and $1200+ from the govt people should be able to cover expenses for a few months. This is if the states get off their ass and pay unemployment and this doesn't last deep into the summer. If this goes into the fall then everything changes dramatically and I mean EVERYTHING.
  3. Apparently the court system has zero coronavirus delays in Texas.
  4. Yet now its not exploding all over China again.
  5. It sure is that anyone would believe anything they say. It all started from one case right?
  6. States are fucked. Tax revenue will massively decline and they can't print money. Local govt's should be ok as most will keep up on property taxes.
  7. Not unlike the virus I'm in the middle on him. Don't think he's as bad as some on here yet I also don't think he's as great as you do. There is plenty in that video that bare minimum I'd like to know more about. I also think he has skirted around the idea that he was saying it was zero threat even into March.
  8. I'm not claiming his team profited. Lots of govt officials get kickbacks or stock information but I'm not claiming that has happened here. For the most part my posts on Fauci and IP have defended him.
  9. Coronavirus laws be like....
  10. About as helpful as the DMV. Baffles the mind some want those types of people running 100% of our healthcare.
  11. So true of some on here.
  12. It is possible to judge individual cops on individual actions both good and bad. Why does everyone think everything is all or nothing on virtually everything anymore? Take sleds for example.....we know Cats are dogs but hey they handle flat.
  13. Yet they complain when people call them fake.
  14. He's not being forced and won't release them. He was told he could and should but I don't think he can be forced by the DNI. Refusal is likely as politically damaging as whats in them.
  15. Absurd that states can't get unemployment out in a timely manner. Companies pay in so deserving workers are given unemployment for times like this. Truthfully its part of the employee's compensation. Yes people should be able to go at least a month or two on a rainy day fund but that does not excuse the states poor response time.

Go to: Abstract Background Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is caused by a newly discovered coronavirus (SARS-CoV). No effective prophylactic or post-exposure therapy is currently available. Results We report, however, that chloroquine has strong antiviral effects on SARS-CoV infection of primate cells. These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage. In addition to the well-known functions of chloroquine such as elevations of endosomal pH, the drug appears to interfere with terminal glycosylation of the cellular receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. This may negatively influence the virus-receptor binding and abrogate the infection, with further ramifications by the elevation of vesicular pH, resulting in the inhibition of infection and spread of SARS CoV at clinically admissible concentrations. Conclusion Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.

  19. 23 come up as inventor name. 0 come up for Assignee. Obviously the 23 in the inventor search are not all him as well. Note just because you are not the assignee doesn't not mean you cannot profit from said patent but according to this he does not own any. http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsearch-bool.html&r=0&f=S&l=50&TERM1=Fauci&FIELD1=INNM&co1=AND&TERM2=&FIELD2=&d=PTXT http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO2&Sect2=HITOFF&p=1&u=%2Fnetahtml%2FPTO%2Fsearch-bool.html&r=0&f=S&l=50&TERM1=Fauci&FIELD1=ASNM&co1=AND&TERM2=&FIELD2=&d=PTXT
