  1. For the most part. Shopping at our local smaller store. Vastly fewer people. Trying to go only once a week or less.
  2. Not sure what the worlds response to China needs to be but it must be significant. https://nypost.com/2020/03/20/who-haunted-by-old-tweet-saying-china-found-no-human-transmission-of-coronavirus/ The World Health Organization (WHO) is now haunted by a tweet it sent earlier this year when it cited Chinese health officials who claimed there had been no human transmissions of the novel coronavirus within the country yet. The Jan. 14 tweet came less than two months before WHO declared COVID-19 to be a global pandemic. “Preliminary investigations conducted by the Chinese authorities have found no clear evidence of human-to-human transmission of the novel #coronavirus (2019-nCoV) identified in #Wuhan, #China,” the organization had said. It also relied on information from Chinese health authorities who have been accused of obscuring facts and figures during the course of the outbreak.
  3. Militarily wise I could care less. Its not our problem. Protect the homeland.
  4. What a wonderful country. https://www.foxnews.com/world/china-italy-coronavirus-supplies-buy-back After telling the world that it would donate masks, face guards and testing equipment to Italy, China quietly backtracked and sold the Mediterranean country desperately-needed medical equipment, according to a report. What's worse is that the personal protective equipment (PPE) China forced Italy to buy was actually the same PPE Italy donated to China before coronavirus rushed its own shores and killed nearly 16,000 people.
  5. A significant portion of military funding should be going to creating national stockpiles and debt reduction. Bring our boys and girls home. World....you're on your own.
  6. Great fucking post. Someone gets it. Cuomo keeps making promises of giving back double to places that help NY. Promises he simply cannot keep. Save us and risk killing those in your area. What I hear everytime he talks.
  7. Not saying it isn't going to be ugly just arguing we are a ways from full economic collapse.
  8. (Knocks on wood) so far in eastern iowa mfg has been fortunate. One large Ag mfg shut down for 2 days for a positive test. One furniture mfg but not for a positive test...they were slow going in. Vast majority of construction shops not slowing down. Those 2 industries alone employ a significant portion of non service work in this part of the state. Ag has to keep going. Key is the processing plants staying open. If not lots of little pigs will be euthanized because there will be nowhere to put them if they shut down.
  9. And lowest fuel costs in over a decade.
  10. Still massive portions of our economy still working. Not all small businesses are bars, restaurants and salons.
  11. NY doesn't get all the nation's stockpile. Don't you guys support govt death panels....well this is one of them.
  12. NR? Not like you to believe anything they post.
  13. Lots of conspiracies will go around. Command teams were locked in Cheyenne Maintain this week. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8162937/Coronavirus-drives-army-command-teams-infamous-Cheyenne-mountain-bunker.html
  14. Not the first report I've seen on using too much positive pressure. The other was regards to some patients resonding to lying in the prone position.
  15. It was. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gorky_Park_(film)
  16. So in 60 days we still are at a point we were in January? The only way this is getting "stopped" is a vaccine and or drug/drug cocktail that cures it. What we are doing now is just slowing things down.
  17. Extra credit for who gets the awesome 80's movie reference.
