Then something is real funky. Bacteria or iron bacteria is not common in deep wells. It is usualy caused by what is called ground water under the influence of surface water.There is a pretty good chance that either yours or a neighbors septic system is failing. Was kinda hoping it was a shallow well as the fix is much easier. There is also the chance that your casing is cracked within the top 20 ft of the well.

Is it a softner that you add salt tabs too , or is it a water treatment? If treatment it will probably need to be repacked. Material will cost abot $235 . You can repack it yourself.

All recessions have 3 major ingridients 1, high energy costs. 2 an overinflated housing market. 3 People who bought houses who don't have a habit of paying their bills. currently energy is affordable. Houseing market is stable. The deadbeats havnt started buying houses in masses. Nope, we got another 4-5 good yr.
