It's a slow uncertain process. Luckily I was basically quarantined in my house before Corona, so not much has changed for me. I'm bored and ready to work, but need to let my body heal. My future is very uncertain, and it's likely I need fusion further down my neck. My focus now is healing and a new career!

I started hauling gasoline 7 years ago, first year was ok, now I'm tired of idiots, 14 hour days, working every weekend for 7 years, getting up at 230am, medical card bs, and I've had 4 major surgeries in the last 3.5 years, so time to take better care of my health.

I wish I never started driving, I'm tired of all the bs and looking for a new career!

Nothing like tired truckers on the roads, at least there is less traffic out there. I don't care to drive more than 60 weekly, have done 70+ plenty, it's not safe.

Hell, trucking would shut down people getting toilet paper, food, sanitizer, fuel, etc. Many things could go wrong!

I despise going to Costco except on a Tuesday/Wednesday evening 30 minutes before close. My wife went a few days ago and said toilet paper, water, cleaner, etc basically gone!

I have life insurance, but wish I had taken out a private disability policy prior to the surgeries I've had. I have disability through my employer, but if they fire me or I can't return, I have no disability to protect myself/family. I am uninsurable currently due to the surgeries I've had according to my insurance agent!

If you lose your ability to work... I'm facing a career change due to health and I'm 38... It's not something I planned on...

I watched the tourney this year, there were a few good mullets. Glad to see the all hair team picked up some sponsor money and can keep the tradition going.

I have 1 bay at 21' and the other 2 at 23'. All are way too small! A garage is never big enough!

I can't believe the price of a stripped regular cab heavy duty pickup... 40k+ sticker, unreal.

6.5' crew cabs don't fit in most garages for the city folk.

Staging at hospital now for news conference, not sure if that is good or bad. One hell of a wreck.

Craniocervical Instability. My neck couldn't support my skull properly. So now my skull is locked/fused to C2 vertebrae. Skull was sliding 5mm on c1 vertebrate, not normal! So now it is fused to hopefully stop further nerve and brainstem damage. 12-15 weeks in neck brace once discharged today or tomorrow. Then hopefully better days ahead to enjoy life! I met 2 girls in the hospital currently who are fused from skull to pelvis... They have connective tissue disorders so their spine cannot support their body!

That's the plan. No PT for 3+ months though. Have to let the fusion set/grow. So neck brace during that time instead to help neck heal.
