A friend of mine posted some drone photos of the lake we used to live on in New Hampshire over the weekend. His photos inspired me to make the two and a half hour trip today to take some of my own photos.

This is Broad Bay, the bay we lived on.

This is one of all of the bays and the main lake. Front to back; Berry Bay, Leavitt Bay, Broad Bay and the Main Lake. @Angry ginger used to have a place between Broad Bay and the Main Lake.

I'll work up a video tomorrow. I flew from the dam, Constitution Park and Spindle Point.

Nice! Rode the lake a lot as a kid. Kinda scary in places.

It's not bad as long as you stay away from the inlets and outlets.

Yeah , I &ucked once up there in my early day's of snowmachining and am pretty lucky to still be here .  Looking behind me and watching chunks of ice and water flying and the sled not speeding up is something that I'll never forget .   :bc:

I wanted one of our employees sink a sled in White Lake back when we were breaking in the rentals. Lucky for him he was only in about 3 feet of water at the time. Still scary when it happens at night.

Nope. None of the channels ever froze up. WTF were you doing riding near the channel? Ask @Angry ginger about the time he had his son on the back of his Renegade and got to close to the channel. I think he might have shit his pants

Was it you that used to camp at Englishes Campground, or am I thinking of someone else?

I dunno where I was , I was following a guy who we knew that lived on Alton bay .  I have a bit of a phobia to this day about being on the ice in places that I don't know .   :bc:

Yes, I know. I'm surprised the English's sold out. I used to party with Vaughn English back in the day. I'll never forget him falling down the basement steps at a friends house, getting up and saying he meant to do that, LOL.  We used to go there to get their pizza several times a summer. Their chocolate shakes were good, too.

i almost went in with the boy on the back,  aimed for the wrong light on a night with no moon to go around the channel entrance from my house to get gas and found myself skimming the channel, got tossed when we hit the ice on the other side and the sled died so no light at all,  james was maybe 7 and i was scared shitless.  i had prob done that trip around 30 times and always aimed for the same spot but someone else was up and had their lights on.

I had old friends whose parents camped there back in the 60’s. Their kids are still there today. I didn’t go back for 30 years and the place had not changed. It was nice and yes the pizza and shakes were good. I think Vaughn still lives on the property. He is unique for sure.

From what I've read from FB posts by friends that camp there some of the English family still works there. Maybe it was just to help them transition?

had the pizza there a few times when friends rented house across from there.

It isn't as good as the Pizza Barn, but it was only a mile from home. I miss the pepperoni pizzas from the Pizza Barn
