Zambroski
The economy picked up where it left off after Covid on the same line. What also picked up was the massive inflation forcing many back down toward poverty levels. This isn't a good economy" it's one on the brink of disaster and has been that way for three years now. The middle class is being absolutely destroyed right now. Too hard for a TDSer to understand though. If I need to elaborate for you on who is being crushed by inflation the most, and always first then I cannot. You lack economic insight to a point you won't understand it. Thats not an easy question to answer because it's a multitude of answers in a "free market". Prices can be manipulated in any way but ultimately, consumers dictate except for things of necessity. Those things are most commonly dictated by government policy and we know this because they continually talk about how they are doing all the can to lower the costs for the lowly peasants; healthcare, gas, grocery and housing....while doing nothing or the opposite most times. So, to answer your question based on what I think you are trying to prove is, government.
Pete
Companies cut a 1/3 out on the contents and charge 1/3 more than it was when you got a full package.. Thats gouging and helping inflation. Was America better off 4 years ago? You bet your sweet ass it was and in a few more weeks you’ll see. Trump’s Tariff Proposals Would Raise Tariff Rates to Great Depression-Era Levels https://taxfoundation.org/blog/trump-mckinley-tariffs-great-depression/ Trump's bigger tariff proposals would cost the typical American household over $2,600 a year https://www.piie.com/research/piie-charts/2024/trumps-bigger-tariff-proposals-would-cost-typical-american-household-over

It is but what it allowed them to do was offer their same products for the same price and it was actually ingenious for some time, and also needed due to their costs going up incrementally. Bit now it's clear what they did and it doesn't look so peachy. However, look at their profits now, look at the stock market. We are all paying for that. The ones talking about the rise in the stock market being a "win" under this admin are the ones too stupid to understand how it is working, AND AGAIN, It's at the cost of the middle class.
