This was an awesome episode for all sled racing fans.  Zach gets into some cool stories of his racing career as well as mod sled insights and it flows really well too. Very entertaining and conversational. It's also available on Spotify.

He touches on the different racing disciplines for a bit. He says he just wants to spend as much time on a sled as possible so he gravitates toward XC and enduros. Snocross/motocross is too much sitting around. Gotta respect a guy that does what he loves...even if some other disciplines might be more lucrative.

The one with Wes is also great.

I met him at the soo when he sent a track through the bulk head and was out of the race. He was out walking around watching the race. Super cool guy. I invited him into “the trailer” but he declined. I don’t know why he would decline that offer?? I think that was same year when they were almost dragged away from the trailer and arrested lol.

I try to listen while I’m working but their audio sucks I can’t hear it directly off my phone and can barely hear it with my shop speaker all the way up if even a small shop fan is on.

Guy definitely parties. I think it was Bunkes pine lake video on YouTube they talk to him at the bar and he’s absolutely hammered after he broke earlier in the day.

The duo of Herf and Selby was really something on the course. Apparently true off the course as well :lolz:

I wish Selby's mic was functional there too. Herf following within a few hundred feet the whole race then getting by him at the end.

COR powersports needs to get some drones out there to follow the leaders!

For sure! The hats he has worn, the things he has seen, and the budgets he has approved...

The shoptalk guys lament they were born a decade or two too late and I'm right there with 'em :lolz:

Good interview so far, easy to listen to in the background while working on shit.

No, Krom expects me to spend at least 2 hours per day looking up websites that don’t exist to back up his bullshit arguments.

Bullshit like you claiming your acorns predict the upcoming winter.

have you ever considered going out in the middle of the woods, digging a hole and sitting in it until someone finds you?

I'd encourage you to try it...

I heard a rumor you like going out in the woods and drilling small diameter holes in acorn trees and then sticking your little wiener in the holes.

You should stop that behavior. It’s weird.:thumb:

was interesting to hear all the brands were courting him in his youth and how close the XC racing community is regardless of brand.  the RB Snow Boundaries conversation was the first time I've heard him discuss 'what happened'.

never used to listen to podcasts but Carbide and Gunnar have been doing a great job... with long interviews

wonder if @ZR6000RR has listened to it yet and had his bubble burst

he was sober and we were at least 4 30 racks, blasting rap music with my friends falling over drunk wearing animals as hats.  He probably thought it would be safer standing in the middle of the track and I could hear the sleds lol
