First time Polaris buyer here...awesome...I have 2 of these sleds...not putting ethanol fuel in my sleds...fuck that..fix the issue dummies

Same here, fuck that.

Do any of you guys see last years model leftover sleds at the dealerships with full tanks??? I think not, and they get stored over the off season empty as well. Bullshit saying adding ethanol will reduce static discharge, sounds like a QAnon theory to me FFS.

I can't even buy 91 ethanol fuel here.

There's a few around here that have 91/92 premium with ethanol. They usually do have non oxy at a couple certain pumps though so you have to look around when pulling in.

There isn't much riding, but are you guys hearing about the "new" oil cap??

lots of blown up 840's sitting in dealers around here, despite the lack of snow

While I do think there is some rare cases of the oil cap failing (totally unacceptable these days) I also think a lot of guys point to the oil cap when they can't discover the actual cause of failure because, well ,,,they read it on the internet.

Not sure if its the oil cap, or even if its oil related as I haven't torn any down.  but there are plenty of blown up ones around..

Been told you can unhook the line from the pump and no oil runs out.

Bring a small fan similar to what you inflate aerobeds with and blow the fumes out of your tank if you are worried. Gasoline has an upper explosive limit and a lower explosive limit.  Too many fumes and no boom. Too little fumes and no boom.

Still needs a source of ignition.
