I noticed in your last post you first brought up Floyd , as the media always does. Why?  Because it gives context as to why people were mad and rioting.  When we talk about Jan 6th Covid restrictions and the mood of the country is never mentioned.  People were fed up angry, for the first time it was middle class older Americans challenging the government.  

J6 was an angry disenfranchised mob of crazy white people whipped into a frenzy by a classic narcissist who places his own ego and priorities over all others.

Floyd riots was similar, but with lack of leadership or thought.   

Again, I disagree with both results but that is just my personal perception.

During a 2016 Black Lives Matter protest in Dallas, TX in which the crowd chanted “Hands up, don’t shoot,” Micah Johnson killed five police officers. During standoff negotiations, he said he wanted to kill white people, especially white officers. All of the policemen he murdered were white.

 

 

Ten days later, Gavin Eugene Long shot six Baton Rouge, Louisiana police officers, killing three of them. His suicide note stated: “I must bring the same destruction that bad cops continue to inflict upon my people,” meaning people of color.
