On Saturday he confirms that he will race in Sunday's merchant's bank 150 at Thunder Road. Scott, a longtime driver had a chance to take his number 14 car out for a test run Saturday in Barre. That went well, so the Governor is set to race in the Thunder Road season opener. Scott has been racing for several years now, he won the first ever Merchants Bank 150 in 1999 and finished 4th in the race a year ago.
