There was a time when you could find basic 996 911's that needed a little work for a low as $7500 on Craigslit. Maybe should have picked one up. Maybe should have picked one up. I bought a 99 911 with 30k miles on it for 18 grand at the auction back around 2008-9 dont remember exactly. Thing was mint but flipped it a month later for a 3 grand profit. Still got to play with it and keep it in my garage for a couple weeks. They were attempting to run the trail and rolled it on to its roof attempting to drive accross the side of a hill . Ie trails are not like flat land trails . When I say trail I mean a few diamonds screwd to trees so you can find your way back to the lot .
