The ship was a trauma ship, sent there to take care of injuries, accidents, ect since the hospitals in nyc were "filled to capacity" with covid patients..The ship was not supposed to ever have any covid patients brought on board since it being a ship the virus would spread rapidly thru it..The fucking dumb ass sent 9 covid positive patients to the ship, then the entire ship had to be disinfected. It never saw a single patient for what it sailed up there for.. Wonder what it cost the tax payers to have the ship completed 3 weeks early and sail from North Carolina to NYC for fucking nothing since retard Cuomo contaminated the entire vessel.. President Trump left a nine-day sequester in the White House last week to travel to Norfolk, Va., to personally see off the ship as it set sail for New York, saying it would play a “critical role.” The ship’s arrival on Monday was cheered as one of the few bright moments in a grim time for the city. On top of its strict rules preventing people infected with the virus from coming on board, the Navy is also refusing to treat a host of other conditions.
