Medicine Hat Alberta 60cm, all the way east to Winnipeg, North to Saskatoon, a hurricane of snow is creating a blizzard across the prairies.  Ran out of Vancouver this morning, waiting it out in Calgary. What a mess, fucking global warming.

What happened to the Climate emergency Canada is under? You know, the one where they said Canada was heating up faster than any other country.

Road still closed

Contractor started my roof today. 16c

One of the guys at work is relocating to Kelowna BC from Port Perry ON.  He left this morning and is driving out with his life in an enclosed trailer behind a 1500 Dodge and his GF following in her car.  He is supposed to start at our BC branch next Monday.  When I saw the forecast I am now wondering if he will make that start date

He should be fine.  South of the province along trans Canada highway was mostly freezing rain, especially in the east.

Middle of province, by my farm land on the edge of the forest, got 14” on the flats.  But you’ll see windblown drifts up to 6’ on the news in the cities and towns.

Up here (just south of Lake Athabasca) we were untouched but are already sitting at 20” on the flats and shitty slush ice because of too much snow before the lakes froze well.
