1. Strong dollar.

2. Our economy is better than many places (we are buying they are not.)

3. Consumer spending has bounced back and is strong.

Same stupidity different day.   Spin posts a trade deficit thread every time he comes back from a break.

This sums it up pretty good.

The trade deficit won’t yield easily to changes in trade policy. As the U.S. economy recovers from springtime shutdowns, Americans are buying more imported goods while foreign demand for U.S. products remains weak.

yep, and there are others that latch on without having a clue.  That break must have been to brush up on some talking points from his "retired" friend that has "helped" the democrat party since retiring.  What a retirement!!!

funny how there were plenty around that said trade deficits were nothing to worry about for those very reasons. For countries like the US they are a sign of strong economic times.

Trump was the one who claimed the exact opposite and the entire lot of you started running around with your hair on fire on command in lock step with that ridiculous notion when he claimed he would eliminate them.

Shocker, another complete about face by the Trump-bots

Dems didn't make them an issue then and aren't now either, nice try.

However - you guys cared bigly about them when trump said they were bad, that the rest of the world was eating your lunch, and how only he could fix it. Now you don't care. What gives?

At this he has. He shouldn't even waste his time trying with millions of cheap ass Americans looking to buy Chinese crap.

Just like stopping drugs at the border. As long as there is a demand for these things you aren’t going to stop it.
