Is a former "jewel thief" is someone to be completely trusted?

Question is how much leniency should she be given considering the horrible things she herself has done?

Really sad part is good investigative journalism should have been able to turn up most of this yet they themselves are afraid.

I am still not very optimistic that will be held accountable.
