Kind of like having a favorite sports team and not switch up as a player you like is traded or signs with another team. No aeroback for me though, lol. I still love the lines of the mid to late 80's Monte Carlo SS's. Way to heavy for the motor, but looked sharp all cleaned up in black. I was a bit more of Cutlass fan but they were sweet (not that there was much difference.) One of my bothers MC was still the best looking mid 80's one I've ever seen. Two tone bronze and brown with T-Tops and Keystone Classic wheels and uniroyal wl tires. Fucking thing was sweet. People often forget the non race fatalities as well. Some pretty big names. Had a few buddies that were DIE HARD Davey Allison fans. Tim Richmond was pure talent AND liked to party some. Back to Dale Sr. , Schrader and Junior...pretty sure that it was Schrader and a few others that sat Junior down and convinced him to wear a full face helmet and HANS device after his dads death.
