I horrified her with how historical socialism (communism) decides how those with the medical training and education are forced to stay in their profession and take whatever pay the government deems they are worth. Apples to Oranges. Some of those places own the entire HC system and pay HC workers significantly less. You can't simply say well Sweeden does it so we can too. Too many factors that have to be looked at. Also some of those places tax lower income citizens to higher rates to pay for it.
