Remember the time

Truly bizarre how you think the media isn't playing this up adding more fear to it all the time? Many medical experts think this is overkill, but guess which ones get air time, and how come we never hear about those that have recovered from this? It's always more infected, more deaths, never any recovery stories. :news:

Every news feed I have watched has health experts who all basically says the same thing.

Remain calm. Don’t hoard. Wash your hands. Avoid unnecessary contact. Don't travel if you don’t have to.

Then go on To say 80% of those that get it will show mild symptoms and probably won’t get sick. But with the speed it spreads those at risk are at greater risk if medical facilities are at capacity as there are only a finite amount of health care workers and beds to treat those at risk.

all from the media you claim is driving mass hysteria. So either  you are searching for negative news or simply don’t watch it at all and grab your info from internet memes, chain mall, Facebook posts, or fringe sites that feed on spreading incorrect info that feeds off people’s political bias.

What news do you watch, exactly? I hear none of that, ever, and like I mentioned just the other day, while watching CP-24, when they had 2 health ministers on. The questions were all about what's to come, all doom and gloom type questions but when another lady finally got to ask a question about recovery rates, CP-24 immediately broke into a breaking news story about the ongoing teacher strike.

Coincidence, maybe, but this is what I normally see. All negative panic doom and gloom type talk, never anything about the recovery rates and how many people have survived this.

Not once have I heard about hoarding and nothing about 80% will show mild symptoms, never.

I was bored yesterday so watched my local CTV news at 6 and the National at night. Hell I even watched CNN for a bit to see their take  - first time I had even tuned in to that channel since Parts Unknown was on.  was surprised their message was actually informative aside from references to how poorly trump was doing rolling out the national response every 20 mins or so

CP is shock value reporting at its finest. I would never waste my time watching that.

CP is an extension of CTV news, is it not? I take what they say with a grain of salt, always, but they're the only ones that have 24 hour coverage so I flick to them sometimes. I try to watch Global when I can but even then, I think they are also left leaning. It would be nice, if it exists, to watch/read something that was in the middle or closest to the middle but I am not sure if such a place/thing exists in GTA?
