Mistakes are what get people caught. Most are simple. The argument for this is that somehow, even at a subconscious level, they want to get caught. They are proud of their work and want credit. Of course, there’s the flip to that...which is complete amateurs fucking up their own spraying bread crumb trail at such a high level, nobody bothers to follow it. He could’ve kept killing for 20 more years had he not sent his manifesto which was eventually published. Was that a mistake? No. It was the encapsulation of his work. He knew the risks.
