Curious Don.....do you have socialist Medicare for healthcare?

Do you receive Social Security checks each month?

Haha, my retirement comes from the Government, of course I paid into it many years and retired at age 44.

Where's/who is Bernie going to get all the money to give all his free stuff to the losers who don't contribute?

I heard about this rich asshole, think his name was Doward Jones or some shit.  Dude's supposed have like an all time record high amount of money.  I figure we'll just get it from him.

The first U.S. dollar, as it is known today, was printed in 1914 upon the creation of the Federal Reserve Bank. ... After the war, countries linked their currencies to the dollar, which was linked to gold. The gold standard ended, but the dollar's reserve status remained.

Everyone pays into both while working so you are paying yourself back when you retired.

If you retired at 44 you are withdrawing far more than you ever paid in.

Didn't say I was getting money at retirement, I had sold 2 real estates I owned, paid cash for this home and had plenty left over, sold my Lake home for 22.5 times more than I bought it for in 1966 when I was 18 years old, didn't need to work anymore at age 44.

even still if you stopped contributing at 44 you'd still be withdrawing more than what you put in.

You forgot about the interest it earns in all those years. I didn't collect till age 62 and don't get much from SS compared to what others get..certainly couldn't come close to living on it if that's all I had coming in..I invested much of my cash from the real estate into an income fund which pays a monthly dividend.

Tis true.

Don't recall when I first paid into it, but I started working at age 9 in 1956.

simply agreeing with him that SS and medicare are indeed socialist programs and 2 of the biggest line items on your annual government expenditure list.

Normally, you need to have earned about 40 “credits” or “quarters” by paying Social Security and Medicare payroll taxes while working — equal to about 10 years of work

Not the same as giving free College of free healthcare Bernie wants.
