I’ve seen MRI’s where you can actually see the blood spray pattern inside brain tissue. That’s caused by barotrauma as blood is pressurized in a millisecond and pushed through the blood brain barrier. Small blood vessels rupture globally throughout the brain. With impact related TBI the damage is localized. It’s fairly well accepted that a lot of previously diagnosed PTSD was actually undiagnosed TBI. I didn't realize how traumatic it could be until I did a little googling this morning. Thanks for the lessons. Trump should have just kept his mouth shut. Zambo wouldn't look like such a clown if he had. In every war there’s been blast related brain and organ trauma. Because of the IED situation in the last two wars the issue became multiplied. It’s been an issue of study. I had always been a little skeptical of the multitude of diagnosis of delayed PTSD in vets. Not to say it doesn’t happen, but it never made sense to me. Something was missing.. when I attended a salute the troops consortium in Milwaukee a few years ago, it all started to make more sense. The presenters from the VA pealed away the evidence and symptoms of blast related head trauma. The symptoms duplicated many of PTSD. There's actually four in the fourth is you're out for more than a minute and probably suffer some memory loss You know what the fact that makes me laugh is a grade one you don't even get knocked out how is it a f****** concussion if you don't get knocked out I mean I know I have a lot of learning to do but the fact that people are actually scared that they bump their head when they don't even get knocked out tells me a lot of this has to do with being a snowflake

My boss is former British Military. Served in Gulf War as a ballistics specialist then worked for a company called Med Eng that builds bomb suits that are sold to militaries around the world. He built and sold a concussion detection device company to be used on sports helmets. He's seen countless MRI's in his line of work.

And agreed. If the military sends you back into full duty within a week....you got a “bumpy bump” on your head. It’s not severe. I’ve been knocked out cold several times. Sports, military, accidents and fights. Of all I’ve only sustained one “grade three”.....and while I had all the harsh symptoms and the feeling of a cracked head (which I had) for a couple of months, I recovered......more or less. Back on subject, Trump was most likely correct....these weren’t major brain traumas. Stop being fucking snowflakes. Be a man!!!!!
frenchy
I'll actually ask my boss about this one tomorrow. In his line of work and with his experience in the field I bet he'd have an educated opinion on it.
