Correct

ET doesn’t matter in drag racing

It matters for sure. If two vehicles run the same ET then ET doesn't matter.

I drag raced competitively from 1982 to 2010. I made hundreds of passes per year down the track. 5.92@227 is my best pass. I made over 100 passes above 200 mph.

Its like this place is full of retards. 1 second at 100 mph is very close to 15 sled lengths. It is that simple.

Wtf is wrong with these guys.

Every fucking day with these retards

If one sled crosses the line first but the other has a quicker ET who wins?

T cat crosses the line, let's say the 850 was 150 feet back...what would speed need to be to cover 150 feet in 1 second? 105mph is the answer. If the 850 averaged 105 over the 150 feet it was beat 15 lengths. If it was beaten 14 lengths it averaged 95 mph over the last 140 feet. So for sure ben is correct.
