I was sure they had better torque lol. I know it's only 40 -50 ccs more but still . Turbo ftw for torque yes

Maybe 2 ft/lbs at most. Not even noticable,  just like the 5hp. Really these specs are for bragging tights only. How a sled handles is ten times more important when they are all this close. Unless you sit on a lake all day and never ride em past 1000 feet, itmatters not.

The Poo 850 dyno's at 174.1 on Joes dyno in Oct 2018.

After multiple pulls on a hot pipe the Poo still made 170.4hp

Poo 850 was 171 on this dyno and might even have less TQ than the cat 800

Cat 800, 111.8 ft\lbs, 167.3 hp

poo 850, 111.8 ft\lbs, 171 hp

cat peak TQ actually comes at a lower rpm somehow from what I can see.

cat probably did keep the new motor from 172+ hp by not making a new pipe

Joey said twice in that video that the 2020 Cat motor made the same HP as the 2019.

He literally has the 2019 graph on there lol

Yup....2020 makes same power as he says multiple times. Maybe a bit less honestly

Looks like the cat 800 actually has a better TQ curve than the poo 850. It’s more like the doo 850. Pretty wicked

That’s all that matters.  All these sleds are close enough that it will mostly come down to sled set up, extra bag weight and rider weight.  Poo guys are usually packing a couple hundo extra here.

It’ll be a good match between the poo 850 and the cat. The doo 850 was already the slowest last year already
