No fucking shit!  He just sent his friends, colleagues, teammates, organization into a “time to jump through our asses” mode by doing it his late.

Pouty said he is “a thoughtful guy” though.

smh.

He wanted to play. He tried to play. He finally admitted to himself he can't play.

guy tried to come back from hi injuries and couldn't and decided to retire but now he's an asshole because it's done in the preseason,  SMH

Yep. All these hard guys would have played it out with broken bones and internal bleeding though.

Yes he is thoughtful and smart...Stanford  isn’t a cakewalk...so he decided rather than end up addicted to painkillers and unable to walk without at pain as he gets older not to mention the obvious deleterious effects on the brain he is walking away on his own terms. The NFL is a business and teams cut injured guys all the time so save the rah rah bullshit.

Well, clearly the entire medical staff had cleared him to play.  So, apparently they are all hacks?

Look, he’s lost heart....and injuries are the cause.  I’ve got no problem with that.  But his timing to decide he’s “lost heart” hurts his team.  Good leaders don’t do this.

Not sure what that has to do with anything.

Obviously some qb's are way tougher than others

Some are injury prone some are not. That’s just luck of the draw and genetics. Not ‘toughness’ you dope

Apparently Drip Dink thinks Luck needed to toughen up those damn Kidneys so they wouldn't lacerate!!!!

Gronk takes 10x the punishment as a QB

Hardly...he mostly dished out the punishment to smaller DBs and Linebackers but that isn't the point anyhow.

9 seasons is pretty tough

That being said I never said being tough was smart.

Terrible example tho lol

Not for the position it isn’t. Retired at 29. Must be weak.

So you admire people who are stupid? Brilliant.

Ya it is dummy.

I also don't think guys who go though training camp and wait until 2 weeks before the season starts to say I'm burned out and quit is a hero

The fact you do see why a fan booed him or have the right to is quite amazing

They should eh?

You should respect a fans opinion to not agree with it

Btw

The injuries he battled throughout the past few seasons had simply taken too big a toll on his psyche, he said

taken a toll on psyche not his his body. Ya that's something the average football fan can really get behind
