Whiskey Tango Foxtrot
A Tesla car crashed into a stationary police vehicle while on autopilot mode, Tuesday. “The officer was not in the police SUV at the time but handling a call for service about 1,000 yards away,” they explained, adding, “The Tesla driver, a 65-year-old man, sustained minor injuries, but declined transport to a hospital, the sergeant said.” “It’s something that we’re going to have to work on, whether it be with Tesla themselves, or we’re going to have to get into more specifics and find out why this is occurring,” he continued. In their own statement, Tesla claimed the company “has always been clear that autopilot doesn’t make the car impervious to all accidents, and before a driver can use Autopilot, they must accept a dialogue box which states that ‘Autopilot is designed for use on highways that have a center divider and clear markings.’” Tesla’s autopilot feature has been attributed to several accidents. Last month, Tesla blamed the deceased driver in a Tesla autopilot accident, expressing that Tesla makes it “extremely clear that Autopilot requires the driver to be alert and have hands on the wheel.” http://www.breitbart.com/tech/2018/05/30/tesla-car-crashes-into-police-vehicle-while-in-autopilot-mode/

Get real. it is pretty cool tec but not to be relied on as the primary driving tool. I use the lane controls and speed and distance control all the time in wife's car . if you don't have a grip on wheel lights, start flashing you know you are not holding on . not sure how guys get a,dui driving this new shit you can't cross the lines very ez you can set speed to follow posted limits set distance to how close you can get to a cars rear end . not sure how you can put a lawsuit on the manufacture . you as always have overide control you are not suppose to just let the car drive it self they are aids for wh3n you are distracted Edited May 31, 2018 by Ez ryder
