Should have bought a well used BMW pickup.....oh wait.

The X5 with more miles has been flawless.

I take that back, the hood froze shut last week. :lmao:

My best truck was a 95 Ram, first year of the new body style. Had the bulletproof 318, got rid of it with over 300k. Replaced a lot of parts but none seemed to be premature. The POS Ford is next, with Chevy being the pile I regret most.

If I ever buy another, it will be a Tundra or a Titan. Fuck this shit.

You’d have to be a sucker to buy a new bmw. A lot of those top the depreciation list. Used is the way to go on them. You can find them all the time at half the sticker a couple years old and low miles.

$40,000 more.

The X5 has more electronics than 10 trucks, and the bother of twin turbos to boot. Still... no issues.

Good old Ford.... $1,500 for an A/C and a faulty oil pressure sensor.

80,000 miles.

i sent my silverado down the road after the ac went,  with what i got for trade plus the cost of repair i think i did ok.

Backup camera went yesterday on the explorer fortunately still in warranty for another 1500 miles,  electronics is why i put the 100k ESP on it, as that can be real easy tr real pricey.

How ya like the explorer?

it's small inside with no back seat room at all,  i think the traverse is better in most ways,  but for just myself it's got just enough power and the stereo is decent so it works for me.  If it wasn't for the handful of times i've been inconvenienced by not having a truck bed i would say i can pound it for another 2-3 years and 50-60k miles but one day I will go and pull the trigger on a new pickup i am sure or I need to find a good enough deal on a used one to dump the boys jeep and let him drive the pickup so i have one in the household.

Why dont you sell your ford and pull your 4 place with your bmw?

Not my 4 place. Scottie Sidewinder's.

Wife want me to get a 2 place and a trailer hitch. 6,000 pound capacity.... :bc:

I will always have a truck. I still haul my own trash, do my own landscaping etc.  I'm not GardenCart Dave.
