They definately have had high prices forever but also alot of the European countries have better transit systems than here. They also don't drive long distances like North Americans

Thanks Dale! I usually use gas buddy to check prices when heading down east. Friends left NS this morning and should be in Que shortly. They're making good time with 4 kids in the vehicle lol

I don't know how effective it would be but seeing as we need gas it might be a shot at starting rotating boycotts of these oil companies. Start at one brand for a week then onto the next brand for another week. They're hitting us in our pockets so might as well hit them in theirs.

I washed the eaves, garage door, front porch, truck and took a bunch of stuff to the firepit to burn later tonight and that's working in moderation as I call it lol.

The weather is finally pretty good here and the blackflies are out. They don't like the heat and it's gonna be alot hotter the next 4-5 days and hopefully they'll go back in the bush.

We buy prime rib roasts for the rotisserie and the biggest one we did was 18lbs that fed 17 people one Xmas eve party. The wife and I buy alot of 2 bone roasts,cook on the rotisserie and cut them btwn the bones and get a nice thick steak each out of it.

I'm a meat manager lol. Rib steak or strip loin when on sale.

I make my own burgers and usually top with sauted onions,mushrooms,peppers,tomatoes and bacon. We didn't have anything but onions so I opened up a can of Stag chili and with the hickory smoked bbq sauce on the burgs they were pretty tasty

The wife had her 2nd one done 3 weeks ago. She was up and running in no time with the 1st one and in alot more pain with the 2nd.

We are getting the house ready to list and test the current market. It's crazy how much stuff gets accumulated over the years. We made 4 runs to the dump and maybe 2 more to go. The wife had the basement and one bdrm full of her craft shit and that's all been boxed and I have the enclosed almost full with garage and 2 sheds full of stuff. I think the wife is a hoarder lol.
