  1. Lemon pepper fish filets and a Village salad. Tomatoes, cucumber, onion, feta cheese, some olive oil, salt and oregano
  2. A place around the corner just sold pretty quick. They bought it 4-5 years ago for $179K and just listed it a week ago for $499K. Somebody bought it for $665K. We've had 3 lookyloos go thru our place but no bites yet.
  3. The blackflies seem to have calmed down a bit out in the open but imagine thick as thieves in the bush. The skitters are brutal but easy enough to keep at bay with lighting a couple of the green coils.
  4. I haven't talked to my buddy in a few weeks but I think there's quite a few more races.
  5. Prime rib roast on the rotisserie and not sure what else with it yet
  6. A friends son carrying on a family pastime. He got 1st place in the 800 class and his cousin got a 3rd. Their dads were the top guys back in the early 90"s.
  7. Holy shit! We lost internet and cell service and it's back on again. I put the standby genny on manual and ran it for about 10min today. We had our propane filled not too long ago so we're good that way
  8. I've seen some pics people have posted and quite the damage. Our area usually has trees down and power outages from wind and rainstorms but we went unscathed other than one little tree down on the side of the road.
  9. The storm that hit here in Ontario is being called a Derecho that left a 1000km path of destruction and fatalities. I've never heard that term before and the tornado that went by close to us a few years ago didn't do anywhere near that much damage.
  10. We are lucky to be retired and can head out on daily adventures. This summer we'll spend alot of time on the pontoon,on the dock and in the water.
  11. Hehe! It took the wife awhile to get used to my moderate way of doing things lol. She doesn't bug me anymore to do things around the house and she enjoys coffee in bed every morning instead of just weekends. I got her trained now huh!
  12. We listed ours, secured a 3bdrm rental for $950/month for Mid June and waiting for an offer. Build prices are crazy and we can't start till next spring anyways and hopefully they'll be down some. We have a quote we can live with at today's prices and hope they'll drop or maintain till we're ready.
  13. I bought a 19ft enclosed and loaded all the garage/shed etc stuff in and will haul it to our lot saving $3-400/month on storage. The rest of the house the movers can load and haul to our rental. Decluttering especially the counter is big as well as any storage areas. One we're done with the trailer and motorhome they'll be sold
  14. We painted the main room in the basement with primer, removed all personal stuff, boxed everything and put it in the garage. As far as the rest of the house goes it's clean and neat and shows well and isn't staged and has that lived in look. Our house is country perse as we are rural and might not appeal to some but they can change it lol
  15. We listed last Friday and had 2 lookyloos last weekend and have one tomorrow at 11:00 am. We talked about waiting but decided to test the market, looked into building and figured the time is now to take advantage of house prices. The build can't start till next spring and we rented a house near our lot and have the motorhome to use as well.
  16. We listed our house last Friday. We priced it for what we want. I think pricing lower to pique interest you get a bunch of lookyloos and we can't be bothered with that. We had 2 lookyloos sofar and it'll take a certain individual to buy in a remote location.
  17. Depends on doing it at a shop or by yourself. A 1.5-2 oz bottle runs $30-40 and is enough to do a pkup truck. It's easy to apply and takes no time at all. I like the Tec 580 ceramic vs a high end bottle of Graphene. If you miss a spot wiping the Graphene you have to reapply and wipe again. Check out the Malco videos on polishing and ceramic coating
  18. When I was polishing/ceramic coating all we used were Malco products and nothing was silicone based. The vehicles/ boats/sleds etc came out awesome once they were cut and polished and the ceramic sealed the deal.
  19. Malco! Epic Re Nu vinyl and cladding restorer. Works great and the other Malco products like the leather conditioner etc.
