The fault lies on both sides. But if it came down to choosing one, it'd be the harsh and completely over the top policies of the Democrats instilled to more or less punish private organizations by making them pay excess fees and taxes to subsidize their policies. Their attempts to hijack and hold captive through use of union tactics and local and federal policies designed to help the "tail wag the dog" has finally forced the hand of private corporations who are trying to survive and prosper. The sad part is, the cost to move these large, mostly manufacturing jobs including first and second and in some case up to five years in penalties, fines and tariffs put in place by the REPUBLICAN PARTY still pale in comparison monetarily to what is now required by Democratic regulations. The bluff has been called...and will continue to be called. Without getting into the macro-economics of it all, watch what happens if Hillary is elected and she fails to put anybody with brains in place to help curb the mass exodus. We are all in deep shit when the jobs consist of the corner coffee shop and other eateries along with low paying worthless jobs in retail that sell goods exclusively made overseas. Ironically, by companies that started in the United States. Or, I am starting to think...is that the plan? When "new job growth" rates are primarily high-churn jobs reported vaguely through the media outlets to somehow "ease concerns" and "give hope" to those who want someone to tell them how much "better" we are doing without knowing the facts. These are jobs for high school and college students, part-timers or people just looking to subsidize another income. These are not REAL CAREER GROWTH POSITIONS THAT GROW THE AMERICAN ECONOMY TO ANY REAL SCALE. But, that's not reported accurately to those that do not watch financial programs. Well, based on his initial claim in his post....I think I couldn't have put it more eloquently myself.

It's somewhat disturbing that these rules, as basic as the are, even need to be put in place. Makes me wonder if any of the members of the old FS site have gone "missing". Anywho....I am all for it!

It's unlikely this thread will stay even remotely civil or educational but, truth is, in the history of successful civilizations, our policies, rules, standards that are proven ineffective, deformed and dysfunctional are usually changed or outright discarded in an effort to save the civilization and progress positively as a people. Democratic Liberalism seems to be the latest thing that we cannot seem to shake and continues to grow as more and more of their leadership continue to lie to their constituents. Or, are themselves ill-informed and/or lack the intelligence needed to see where serious problems are occurring.within their own policies. Rather than the change they should seek, it has become an outright war against anything or anybody who questions their methods and opposes their policy ideas. No compromise (except when there is no choice), no reconsideration, no admitting of failed policies....just more promises of "change" (free stuff) and pandering to the masses of the lower educated, dysfunctional and disenfranchised Americans (or not even Americans) in an effort of collecting votes. And as long people continue to believe that the "free stuff" is in the works, Lefty Dems will keep their seats. And now, in light of the "silent majority", as they are called, having about enough of it, they've decided to fight back using fire to fight fire. And now look where we all are.

IMO, it's The far lefty liberal way. The ones that work harder and produce exceptional results are stripped of their excellence so all are mediocre on a playing field tilted for the lowest achievers. Sadly, this doesn't work in the real world. But they're working on that too. One of the proudest moments of my life as a father was when we moved into our current house. My daughter was 14 at the time and she only out about half of her medals and trophies on her shelf. I asked her where the rest were and she said, "Those are the ones I actually feel like I've earned. I don't care about the other ones." I'm tearing up just thinking about it again. ATTA GIRL!!!!!!!!!

We've rarely physically punished our daughter, but it has happened and I know it left an impression she'll never forget. When it comes down to it, some of our actions deserve swift and painful consequences. There are a lot of adults (and more coming) that say what they want and do what they want because they've never had to pay any consequences, and never think they will. I find it both bizarre and comical. And like the kid that was pleaded with at dinner to behave. Imagine his surprise in a few year when somebody put their hands on him. Do any of you remember your dad just giving you "the look" that straightened your ass right up! I do. And guess how we all know what that look meant? Because there wasn't a second look that one time. Ouchy!

Look guys, until this nation elects a minority democratic president to get a handle on this situation, we're gonna continue to see these problems from the minority population. It's a societal problem. We should look for a candidate that has been successful in his own city combating crime and violence. Maybe even a city in the mid-west.
