  1. Hold on now...these dealers are not a government run institution. They reserve the right to refuse service and sales to anyone if they feel it may be a dangerous situation. In fact, I'm not sure of the law but that extends to a lot of things that anyone can get "refusal" for. Like a late night drunken request for another round refused by a bartender. Perfectly legal.
  2. The liberal shit rhetoric train has left the tracks. Some of the comments on these failed bills from them is just plain absurd. Only the liberals currently on the teat must believe some of this shit. There's a better chance I'd start praying to Jesus every night than to somehow crossover into a whole new dimension of dementia and start believing this complete garbage And nobody can figure out why Trump is so popular....really? It's because the Liberals are just that much more hated. Incredible.
  3. See, that's weird. I read an article in the "Liberal Idiot Times" just last night that was similar to this one. Only, everywhere written that implied Mateen was supporting "islam", "Islamic State", "Isil", "Muslim" it had "NRA" or "Republican Party" written in and it also said he posted allegiance to the death for the "AR-15 Assault Rifle". Something isn't right...I'd better do some checking.
  4. Smaller in Cal or gun size? I have their Compact line. A USP Compact and their .45 compact. The .45 compact is a great gun. It's like it was molded perfectly for my hand and fits like a perfect extension. 'Course, every hand is different and everybody likes a certain feel with a handgun. So, gotta "try them on" to find one that fits. I find most of the makers "compact lines" are better for tactical use. If you do competition, the larger barrels are obviously better.
  5. I've got three Bushmasters, all 90's Clinton Pre-ban. Two are still in the box and one is my personal weapon. I was introduced to BM's when I got to chose my shit for contracting. I found them to be superior and tougher than the Colt military issues. Now, my personal one is a bit of everything all mil-spec but the lower receiver is all BM with a tad bit of trigger work and I don't know how many thousands of rounds I've put through it but it's been A LOT. I'm a fan of BM but to be fair, I've been out of that business for a good while so not sure where they stack up now and I'm sure there are some other great brands now too. Also, I'm a big fan of HK also. Have several of their models (no AR's though). It'd probably be a spendy option but I'd do an AR from them too.
  6. There it is. They've got a tough and shitty job for pay I wouldn't consider for half day employment. Most are just good ol' local boys just trying to keep order anyway they can...and in case anybody has had their head in the sand, they are really starting to get frustrated about it.
  7. But only if you are drunk and then only temporarily until you are convicted. It has to go through the process. And if they pull you over and they smell achohol, that still doesn't give them the right to search your vehicle. And if they jerk you around and you don't blow over the limit then...Oooops. The law is now in your favor. They cannot just frisk you unless they feel you may have a weapon on you, they are most likely to just "pat you down". Your body is private property too and again, without probably cause, well, "No sir, I will not consent to a search of my vehicle and person." Think they can just arrest you? NOPE. They now need a warrant...which they will usually get while you wait, but it's not always guaranteed. But just guess what a cluster it is for them when they find nothing, they have nothing, you are guilty of nothing...again....Ooops. Oh, while you are doing all this and "exercising your constitutional rights", keep in mind, they've been through this a time before...and if you are guilty of anything at all to save their asses, they'll find it. And if not, they have a way of making you do or say something that softens their paperwork. Politeness goes a long way in maybe easing the shit load of problems they are about to start stacking on you. Now, my disclaimer, I'm not an attorney, but I do stay at a Holiday Inn express whenever possible. But, in all seriousness, short of maybe two or three incidents with the law where I CLEARLY deserved my extra ration of shit, I've rarely had any real problems with them and I've had quite a few "moments" up that road. I also know when I am in some trouble and don't act like a complete ass-clown. Being kind and polite can go A LONG way...course, in a pinch, that roll of toilet paper makes a nice pillow whilst you enjoy getting your thoughts together in solitary confinement.
  8. Actually, under just plain suspicion, they cannot without your permission. And they also cannot threaten you to do so or it will be impounded. They need probable cause meaning a fact or evidence they have witnessed to search without your permission once they get a search warrant....AND THEY MUST HAVE ONE TO DO SO. Cops have a sneaky way and a few really good questions that guilty parties, even if only a little bit guilty, allow them to follow through with it all.
  9. WOW! That is advanced! I think our highest class is the requirement that applicant must fire a round off into his leg/foot or the immediate floor area where he is standing while he attempts to remove said weapon from his holster. They get 5 tries but I've only ever hear of it taking more than three tries just once.
  10. Those both look somewhat reasonable. But I would like to read the whole thing and not just "snippets" to see what which party put in caveats and little shit-lines that will probably sink these......like whose hometown will receive $765M for a new golf course club house. And who's state will receive "restructuring" money to build a bridge people will rarely use but pay tolls when they do. Or, who gets whatever bill passed "guaranteed" for some other worthless shit in the future that will ensure a nice re-election platform. ETC....ETC.....ETC...... If any of you think that doesn't happen, get your hands on any recently passed bill and look at all the clauses it took to get each signature to get it passed. Talk about being "hoodwinked".
  11. Holy shit! You got to do hood slides? Must have been an advanced class!
  12. Ok, I'll just say it...can't we just give the Negroes a couple of their own states? A couple of states in the south would be good. They can regulate, legislate, and run their own system the way they want. Clearly what we have done is not working for them. Or, since we botched this up in the first damn place....a one way relocation to any country in the world would work for me too. We could even pay their way there for the first five years, hell, even 10 years...or damn, their lifetime. The U.S. would still be money ahead in the long term. Ahhh...to dream so simplified. I know, I know....IMA RACIST!!!!
  13. Yeah, spread out like cancers through the body. If there ever was a reason to start building walls...it's to keep people in! And i knew you knew it was coming!
  14. So their geographic surroundings are the issue? LOL. Tell you what, let's do your plan but we send them to your state.
  15. They should really consider banning firearms from that city. That's the only way to stop the shootings.
  16. If I were to carry (legally), I'd have a revolver. It's like a shotgun used for home protection..."get out of jail free card". Or at least a lot less hassle in doing so. A single action revolver is safe, easy to maintain, and delivers all the fire power anyone will need in a public situation. If you need more than 5 or 6 rounds...it's time to run. If you ever kill someone with it, like a shotgun during a home invasion, it is considered a "sensible" and "honest" use of force. I kill some one with a modified HK USP or any other "scary, complicated black weapon" well, it sure looks like I couldn't wait for someone to step over the line..and "the line" will be in question. Nothing is more comical (and nerve racking) to see some fat fuck with his muti-magazine holster and Glock in the food mart. I start looking around to make sure I accidentally didn't wonder into Chicago.
  17. Well, I think the FBI recommending her indictment to the Justice Department, then the JD just saying...."eh, we can wait"...will do more for that cause. SUPER DUPER! Won't be long before the Presidents start pardoning themselves as their last acts in power. And that is something to think about.
  18. And I think there are certainly better pistols for "newbies" to be carrying. Revolvers top my list.
  19. It's all politically motivated in this country right now. We have become the sheep now more than ever. And most, it appears, are good with that. It's a lot easier not to think about things for yourself for sure. Just get in the flock and be a good little sheepy. And I agree 100%. But I also think they do. At what level they do is what is concerning. But the skepticism is pretty well implanted with Americans on how the Islamic faith works. Even the Libs aren't trusting them...but they won't admit to it. Again, this may be more of an effort to stop giving the terrorist organization over-credit and continue to advertise for them. What would have been real curious is how our government would handle this "US Citizen" in a trial effort if he would have been captured. You boys are upset now about this "editing".....holy crap! We'd see word and phrase twisting, omissions of relevant evidence and overall "magic tricks" that have never even been attempted on the American public yet. This may not be relevant very much here but at our start of WW2 after the Japs hit Pearl, by Executive order, over 100,00 Japanese citizens or visitors in America were rounded up and put into camps until they were deemed "harmless". While I certainly think that was extreme, I think it shows the level at where our government was back then to protect our country and our citizens compared to where we are now. Sure seems like now we have been indoctrinated to look outside of the true issues and find another "cause" or "group" or "item" to blame. We should all be "bleeding hearts" or "victims". And if we aren't one of those, we should feel bad about it and seek counseling. If we don't, I guess we are just labeled "racists".
  20. I don't know guys. I think it's clear to the people of America with any sort of brain activity what happened, why it happened and who the shooter was representing while doing it. I don't know that giving those sheep rapers continued credit and validation is necessarily a good thing. They love to see their name in lights and it certainly helps attract more retards to their idiocy. But, I also have my doubts that this is what it's all about given our current administrations slight of hand and overall questionably integrity. SO.....
  21. I'd check in to a local range for some instruction. Even if they do not offer a type of structured program, the owner/operator will be more than happy to point out some folks there that would do just about anything to help you. Seek ex-military personnel if possible. You are correct in that it could very well be an accident waiting to happen. Timidness or being under confident with a firearm can be just as dangerous as being overconfident. The only difference is competency. I'm not sure which one scares me more at times....I've seen "bunglers" from both sides.
  22. I like Bill, have read his books, I agree with a good bit of his thoughts...but not all. HOWEVER, his thoughts on organized religion are RIGHT ON THE MONEY.....EVERY FUCKING TIME.
