  1. Sure, but when they were struggling, the government would have let then fail.
  2. What should that be? When they almost went bankrupt years ago, what did these same loyalists do for them?
  3. They don't owe any non shareholders anything, right? Buy some shares in the company.
  4. Sure, but they have created jobs in America, lots of jobs, the jobs that make sense, product and software development yes, manufacturing not so much. You really should be a shareholder who's SP has fallen 40% to keep waving the American flag.
  5. It needs more activity first. Lol. Its all good for now.
  6. Why do you feel those who haven't contributed one cent to Apple's rise should have any input to the direction they are allowed to take? They are a global company with less than half ownership in the USA. I believe they used to make puters out of someones garage when they started. Tough business to be in.
  7. What manufacturing did Apple ever do in the USA? Serious question, I really do not know.
  8. Who is backpedaling, I have stated I am not a fan of Apple or their products, in fact I think Apple users are a special kind of stupid, but irregardless, the company and its performance, balance sheet is another thing altogether. That being said they are a global company and do not owe the USA anything, they are free to pick up and go wherever they wish, just ask the owners of the company.
  9. I don't buy Crapple products and I could care even less about its stock price or net profit.
  10. Buying a phone does not count. Invest $100k or more and see that go to under $90k while waving the American flag and then let's talk.
  11. Buy Apple shares then and you can voice your opinion, otherwise you have zero input.
  12. That is a whole different topic.
  13. What percentage of the shareholders are even US citizens? Do you think they care about US jobs?
  14. So, who do you feel this belongs to? The shareholders or the USA citizens who never contributed one cent to Apple's success?
  15. You must have been a bad boy then. It looks like the members have split between the two sites, I don't have time for two so I will stick with FS. Still do not like how the exodus homo's treated Rob.
  16. Probably not for Apple's product offerings. They must compete in a global economy and are accountable to their shareholders, NOT THE USA. It wasn't too long ago they were facing bankruptcy and their share value was < $10, I owned about $20K of shares then and sold it when it hit $20.
  17. Will likely be making that tonight. Hey you can't have steak every night.
  18. So he had a bad business venture. BFD. I knew a very successful (late) entrepreneur who create a huge business on his first try and then a string of about 20 failures after that. He was still quite successful, almost a billionaire, when he passed.
  19. So let me get this straight, you are an atheist and a firm believer of spontaneous generation to support your atheist claims even though that theory has been thoroughly decimated by Pasteur and others and yet you want me to pray. Good luck with that.
  20. You can try and believe whatever you want, but there is no way in hell 93% of scientist are atheists, unless they are completely stupid. http://www.livescience.com/379-scientists-belief-god-varies-starkly-discipline.html
  21. Its a fairly recent poll. http://www.pewforum.org/2009/11/05/scientists-and-belief/
  22. Sure. American scientists are about half as likely as the general public to believe in God or a higher, universal power. Still, the survey found that the percentage of scientists that believe in some form of a deity or power was higher than you may think — 51 percent. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/12-famous-scientists-on-the-possibility-of-god_us_56afa292e4b057d7d7c7a1e5
  23. Shocking isn't. I would say they are the smarter half. Lol.
